About time these guys were back! Do you think they'll have another successful hit on the American rock charts? I loved "Paralyzer" back in 2007. Just wonderin how One Thing did on Alternative/Act. Rock - not sure what year it was...prob. about 2002 but just guessing

^Yeah if I had to guess I'd say 90s teens listened to Smashing Pumpkins much more than Collective Soul - also the first Matchbox 20 CD and first Third Eye Blind CD

^Yeah I'm tryin to remember - I think a lot of teens in the mid-90s listened to Rhythmic, but also remember a lot of middle and high school kids getting into Alanis Morissette and songs like Bitch by Meredith Brooks
But yeah I think Rhythmic had higher ratings in the 90s cause a lot of teens listened to them instead of adult-leaning CHRs

Yeah I really think it's the best Daughtry song since Home - just feels more authentic or something I think

^Yeah I think in the mid-90s most CHRs were aimed at 20-30 somethings - kinda like HACs are now

Top 10 now on Hot AC - goes for CHR adds in a couple weeks I think - likin this much better than last two Daughtry singles, prob. cause he wrote it himself

^Kinda feel like this isn't gonna do well on CHR just cause I can't picture teens sayin something like Who Made You King Of Anything - just sounds really un-hip I guess IMO

^Yeah, because it's basically CHR without certain songs, and willing to reguraly play songs from the 2005-2007 period. So do you agree with me that Hot AC should still at least be playing the '90s music? I think it would be exciting to see Hot AC be more liberal with the '90s music. The other day I heard one play Montell Jordan. Yeah seems like there's two types of Hot ACs now - one type is set up like a CHR and plays 2000s music and currents...other type plays currents only every 3-4 songs and plays songs from 80s and 90s

IMO the verse and the chorus to the song would be X100 better if it had a guitar in it instead of all electronic cause the electronic stuff in the background wears at my ears

I really think any Hot AC that spins its currents 60-80x a week is focusing on current hits, and should be labeled as CHR (cause that's how most CHR playlists were in the 80s and 90s) - people listening to these stations are listenin to hear current music with some recurrents thrown in, not a wide variety of hits from the "80s 90s and today"

Gotta side with people that think this song is boring, plus he kinda ripped off a nursery rhyme which is just kinda creepy

Dunno...back in the day IMO Rzeznik wouldn't be writing lyrics that were this cliche - this song kinda seems like he has writer's block - but still hopin it does well
