Very surprised there is no thread for this yet. But Simon really had a lot of confident in them for going all out with A list writers/producers like Toby Gad, Red One and Kelly Clarkson.
This is battling Adele for the #1 spot this week on Billboard Hot 100 and estimated to sell between 190k-210k.

Honestly the music isn't THAT great. Some of the songs are decent to bop to. But because it's the tween market it's gonna sell like crazy. I hope they deliver something more original on their next album

^ I agree. The songs aren't mature at all aka Justin Beiber music. I do still wish them the best, though. I really think we could have something big with this and The Wanted. And god knows the children and teens have been in mourning ever since the JoBros broke up.  |

I don't know about your local pop stations, but mine has been creating so much hype for these guys as of lately. I mean, I know they have their liitle niche of fans, but I wouldn't be suprised if Clear Channel got a lil sumthin sumthin from 1D's management. :/

They did an interview there a few weeks ago and my sisters (along with several hundred other teen girls) stood outside like sheep in hopes of getting to meet them. Since then, "What Makes You Beautiful" has become one of their most requested songs on the station. |

I GOT TICKETS!!!!!!
I was just about to give up after 15 minutes of this presale and then BAM! they gave me upper tier seats, which is fine because the arena they're playing at is super small and it'll be a great experience regardless.
And of course I'll be trying again tomorrow during the general sale for better seats. And if I get better seats, I'll be generous and put them on ebay for $350, which will be $200 more than I paid for them but if you look at stubhub right now, my price is more than nice lmfaooo
