Am I reading this right or does she really have no writing credits on this album? I just looked it over again and I think you're right. Assuming she's not on the page Joel missed, that's pretty bad lol Same lol I want to make sure Eminem wrote his own verse but I think even if he didn't write a verse, we wouldn't know for sure since he wrote the chorus and he would be credited for that He wrote the melody of the chorus? [/quote] He wrote the lyrics

I was just thinking about the lyrics of the chorus. Like seriously, and I'm sharing that cause I never think of lyrics. But I wish the title of the song would have hit harder. Love The Way You Lie sounds too mellow. The other line they used in the chorus might have been better.

Why didn't Rihanna write any of this album?

They talked about how they had writing camps working day and night to create hits like a factory You would think she would pull a Beyonce at least and change a few lyrics for some songwriting credit. People might actually respect that more than zero credits

Best Buy will be selling this for $6.99 the week of Black Friday.
Next week it will be $9.99, so you might want to wait.

Loud Album Review
1. "S&M" This track is so infectious. I could very well see this as a potential single (8.5/10)
2. "What's My Name?" (featuring Drake) It took a while to grow on me but it has. I still find it to be a step down from Only Girl. (7.5/10)
3. "Cheers (Drink to That)"- I find it kind of catchy but kind of boring. It makes a decent album track (6.5/10)
4. "Fading"- She has a lot of conviction in her voice. It’s definitely one of the album’s stronger tracks (8/10)
5. "Only Girl (In the World)"- The hook is alright but what really elevates this song is that last bridge. The take me for a ride section is infectious. (8.5/10)
6. "California King Bed"- Her strongest track vocally and it is one of her best ballads (9/10)
7. "Man Down" – The production and her accent can be sexy at times. Here it feels a bit forced; however, the production helps. (7/10)
8. "Raining Men" (featuring Nicki Minaj)- I find it to be one of the weaker tracks. It just seems so empty and pointless. (5/10)
9. "Complicated"- My favourite track off of the album has Rihanna singing about all the complicated parts of a relationship. This dance influenced ballad is absolutely stunning. (10/10)
10. "Skin"- It’s a catchy song with some nice breathy vocals. It’s not strong lyrically but it makes for a decent album track (6.5/10)
11. "Love the Way You Lie Part II" (featuring Eminem)- I like it as much as I did with the original. The verses exceed the original; however, the reworked chorus kind of ruins it. (8/10)
Overall score: 77% (B+)

If the whole week then I'll probably wait You could also purchase the album on Tuesday, and just get a price adjustment on Black Friday, but you still will need to get up early, you just won't have to be running around trying to find it, worrying about it being sold out, and you'll beat some of the lines. I've done this on items before in the past. Most places allow this.

So what do you guys think the singles should be? Given that we already have 3 singles (Only Girl, Whats My Name, S&M), I only hear one other song with potential: Cheers They should have put Whos That Chick on the album and released it at the same time as David. I wish Love The Way You Lie Part II could be a single

Complicated really is the only single worthy track left. Cheers is way too I'm not really a fan of Cheers . Raining Men is the worst track off the album . Complicated is the one that I feel liking playing constantly . California King Bed is one of her best tracks vocally and if promoted properly, I think it can be her "Big Girls Don't Cry".

Ohh this already been released ? Is this any good ? Released, no. Leaked yes. And Complicated still sounds really cheap and sort of uncatchy to me. But it's kind of in my head I kind of like California King Bed, but I think melodically it could be a bit too mellow. It's very HAC, and Big Girls Don't Cry had that huge pop hook. At least it's more balanced though, cause this is mellow throughout, but Big Girls Don't Cry had like the world's most empty and unmelodic verses, but then such a huge powerful hook for a chorus. Like it went from 0 to 100 whereas California King Bed is more 50/50

I wish Love The Way You Lie Part II could be a single I don't understand why you keep going on about Who's That Chick? I told you the song is being released on Guetta's re-release due out in December. LTWYL 2 might be a single. No one said it won't be...it probably won't, but it could at least be an airplay hit. The song is already in the 60s on CHR. I don't remember where ESOM peaked Only Girl What's My Name S&M Complicated New album fall of 2011. I love your single choices . Through in California King Bed @ the end and it would be a great era Cheers should be a single and CKB!

They could have released Whos That Chick on both albums I'm not really a fan of Chick. I personally am glad she excluded it from her album . Complicated, California King Bed & S&M are the only songs I want as singles .

This is a mediocre mainstream-serving pop album. It does enough to appease the mainstream public and her fans until her inevitable sixth album which hopefully would be more noteworthy.
