Rihanna is not re-releasing this summer, it has been confirmed that she will be releasing a new album in late June of this year.

Ne-Yo & David Guetta are already confirmed producers as well as Fernando Garibay & Toby Gad.

"Rude Boy" will be the FINAL single from Rated R as Riri is totally over the album as it came from a dark time and she's all about positivity now.

New single is debuting August 20th on GMA's concert series; Album release in Late September

On August 20th, Rihanna will participate in Good Morning America’s ‘Concert Series’ at Central Park in New York.

Rihanna-Diva has just received confirmation that in addition to songs from her back catalogue, the 22-year-old will allegedly premiere a brand new song from her upcoming new album due out later this year.

Rico Love was in the studio last week working on Rihanna’s new album with Timbaland. The producer who has also worked on Kelly Rowland’s new single ‘Commander’ says that that they did some ‘amazing, highly energetic records’ for the Barbadian beauty’s upcoming project. When speaking about the project’s direction, he says: “The tone of the music that I did for Rihanna with Timbaland is extremely sexy—amazingly sexy, aggressive, unapologetic. She’s one of the sexiest women in the world, so I wanted to make sure we did a record to showcase that”. Previously, Sean Garrett also revealed that he had just finished a “humongous radio record” for the 22-year-old’s fifth studio album.

I believe that the reason she's releasing a new album so soon is because "Rated R" floped.....It only managed to sell 2 million copies worldwide while her previous album sold 8 million copies worldwide.


Anyways i'm looking forward to hear this new album because i wasn't satisfied with Rated R at all...It was a pretty bad record.

We told you a few months back that Rihanna was having DIFFICULTY selling tickets to her concert (with pop star Ke$sha). Well last week, she announced that she would have to DROP dates in Arizona and in Dallas.

The insider told MediaTakeOut.com, "Rihanna's people came up with some BS story that they were canceling the Arizona show because of some IMMIGRATION NONSENSE. That was a lie. It was because she couldn't sell more than a third of the tickets."

And according to MediaTakeOut.com's snitch, the entire TOUR is in peril. The tipster explained, "The entire tour is starting to look like it willy LOSE money. 9 times out of 10, when promoters realize a tour is a money loser, it gets cancelled."

Last week, Christina Aguilera's, another artist with weaning popularity, had her concert CANCELED.
