It's not about me caring or not caring, but Im saying if they won't acknowledge LeRoi's death, what are the odds of a major award? It was a mistake. And the people who put together the tribute have nothing to do with the voters. When the voters see the album on the list they will remember what happened.; I doubt Grammy voters will remember that LeRoi's name was omitted next year. And even if they do, I doubt they will vote for the DMB album to make up for it

If it gets nominated, it will be because of politics or merit, not because people remember or care about that

Where was it submitted then? You would think country singers would try to double dip in pop and country, but usually they don't. And when was the submission deadline and when was the voting deadline? I remember all the submissions were released end of September and people were pissed that Womanizer didn't get submitted but Beyonce and Christina were. Do you remember the voting deadline too? I get that Taylor was near the end of the deadline, but if the same situation happened this year, she'd probably be able to make it. Was anything else submitted from her first album?

Yeah, I would have expected that to be nominated after getting BNA the year before. And its not like she lost momentum or anything.

I think "Circus" could go for Best Female Vocal and "Womanizer" for Best Dance Recording. I honestly think Womanizer could beat Poker Face (if PF gets chosen for the BDR). Though, PF might just go for pop and Womanizer would probably then win BDR

They should send Out From Under for Best Pop Vocal Performance because her vocals are really good on that song. It held together really well, but I'm sure haters people could say its all computers

i'm sure they would. and it'll be interesting how they handle lady gaga. I'm guessing she will be in Pop instead of Dance for most of her categories?

Honestly, I just want her to be nominated so she gets a pretty dress, flawless make up & hair and steals the show as always. A performance wouldn't hurt but I don't wanna get my hopes up lol.

Yeah because I'm assuming the hardcore dance songs will be sent this year, but then again, they never submit anything worthy of a grammy, just generic crappy dance music.
I won't lie, I'm still pissed the Scissor Sisters lost to Britney.

I honestly think if GaGa is not in the dance category, then Britney could definitely win that with Womanizer. I think they'd be smart to send that for Dance, and then "Circus" for Female Vocal because it better shows off her vocal skills (rather than her voice being a bit overproduced on Womanizer), while Circus could get a Best Pop Nom. I'd be shocked if she got anything above that. Idk, maybe its just the superfan in me but I think she could win Best Female Vocal with Circus. It doesn't know like a lot out there. The instrumental is even awesome regardless, if Britney walks away with 1 it would be a miracle

I think Womanizer would make the most sense in pop female. Usually it's the biggest singles that get nominated anyway.
I'm not sure how the dance categories would play out. Some of those noms in those categories are more "pop" than dance, so its kind of unpredictable.

She should send Unusual You to dance, since it is of the Ambient dance nature.

Britney can easily go either way. She will either gets lots of nominations in both Pop and Dance, maybe just Pop, maybe just Dance, or none at all.

She better get at least one!
We should nom her for BNA just because she's a Phoneix reborn from the ashes of a former individual sector.
