Interesting cover. I like the part they added "it's too late, too late, too late, too late". Kidnapping the man and leaving to die in an exploding car looks a little cold too

no offense. but girls should not sing this song. its meant for a male vocalist.
and i dont think this song should be this heavy rock...i feel that it loses its meaning. this is one of the worst versions i heard of this song.

No doubt in my mind, "Apologize" should be a ballad.

No doubt in my mind, "Apologize" should be a ballad. 100% agreed... its one of those songs you do not TOUCH like My Heart Will Go On, I Will Always Love You, Hero... because what was brilliant about both of the OR versions is that they both felt so painful but in different ways.. and what was beautiful about timbaland's version is that the echos and beats gave the song this feeling of emptiness that was very appropriate for its lyrics....

I already thought they already lost that feeling trying to make both OR versions too contemporary with those beats especially the album version's beats.
I haven't really heard a "real" ballad version of the song.

This cover is horrid. there is no harmony between the 2 vocals and they make the chorus way too repetitive by adding that part

Ehhhh, I don't know about this.
1. It's too early for a cover of this song 2. The two girl singers give me lesbian-ish vibes 3. I don't think I like the vocals all that much 4. That drummer kinda scares me. LMAO

I wouldn't really consider BL a ballad, and it's not just about the beats. Jesse's version has beats too, but that's closer to a ballad

I would call a ballad a song that is an emotional story about some type of love. the vocals in the verses are quieter, emotional and raw that then explode into a powerful chorus. which i think is very true for apologize...
i dont understand how you dont think its a ballad...
