Who is the most played artist so far this decade? Anyone know or have an idea of who might be? I know Kelly should be up there as she was on top for 2 years in a row. But I don't think it was enough to make her the most played artist. Yonka? She has a lot of Urban and Rhythmic love and Irreplaceable certainly helped out her total spin count.

Oh yeah! Nelly. I forgot about him. JT is def up there too. If you include NSync he is like in a MASSIVE lead for Pop airplay. haha But it doesn't count. lol

DC would be ahead of Beyonce, actually. But not by much at all. Nelly is definitely #1 though. He has had over 10 huge radio hits this decade. Usher is def. 2nd. I feel like I'm forgetting somebody. NICKELBACK. ew ew sadly. They're most likely in the Top 5.

Oh yeah! LMAO! I know who you might be forgetting... Christina? Maybe not though. She usually only gets Pop airplay where as the others get play on several formats.

No, not her. She's in the Top 20, but probably arond #15 or so.
Alot of urban/rhy artists have gotten more airplay than her. Akon and TPain and Ludacris are all ahead of her.

Yep.
Timbaland is up there too.
In the past 2 years alone, he's had Promiscuous, SexyBack, Give It To Me, The Way I Are, Apologize, and other random hits. All were MASSIVE.

Tim isn't going to be that high. He doesn't get credit for SexyBack. And he doesn't get a lot of urban airplay either, just pop and rhythmic.

I would agree with everyone...in order to be high up there, you need to have massive multi genre hits. which is why im waiting for carrie to rule that list soon

I think Beyonce is the most played female artist of the decade! And not even close to being the best selling. Radio needs to play Britney more.

What about 3 Doors Down? They're pretty close to Nickelback if you think about it, so they've gotta be up there.
