Every year, there are a couple of old albums I get into. So far this year, it's been the self-titled 1990 release by the Seattle tribute band Temple Of The Dog: Every rocker knows "Hunger Strike." Some know "Say Hello 2 Heaven." But too few have taken the time to listen to this great album. I was introduced to it by someone about a year ago, and while I enjoyed it I never went back and listened to it again. That was until a little over a month ago when I was over in Virginia, waiting outside a restaurant for a girl I was meeting. I was listening to my Days Of The New station on Pandora when "Times Of Trouble" came on. Since then, I've been listening to this album like crazy. The highlights are definitely the softer songs. "Times Of Trouble" and "All Night Thing" are awesome late night jams, and "Wooden Jesus" is a great song that I relate to. I'd recommend all three. "Call Me A Dog" is also great.
