A unique message to Eminem that caused some controversy when it aired on MTV:
It's a little condescending, but I appreciate what he did here.

To whoever moved this, it was actually supposed to be here. Believe it or not, Christian rap does exist.

Christian rap music is actually some of the best Christian music there is, if you are looking for actual real hard hitting Christian lyrics. Not like the fluff stuff that's usually played on Christian CHR.
I've never quite liked KJ-52 as a rapper. I think this was an incredibly brave choice for him to release though. Most Christian singers/groups/whatever usually stick to the same old formula, so it is nice to hear someone stepping outside of the box. I actually never knew this played on MTV. I wonder why. Was it played because of the content of the song, or was KJ-52 actually played on MTV before?

^I'm almost positive it was only played because of its subject matter. Eminem was HUGE on MTV in the early 2000s, so a song that some would perceive as a diss track was worth playing, I suppose. Wikipedia says it was played on TRL, so I guess a fair amount of people must have liked it. The song led to KJ-52 receiving death threats, which inspired him to release a follow-up. I agree that it was brave to release. My favorite part is when he calls out Em on changing his music ("nowadays you soundin' different"). Most people don't realize that Eminem wasn't always an over-the-top guy with vile lyrics. Infinite had its fair share of cursing and sex/drug references, but nothing shocking or alarming.

Makes sense. The public loves drama. Eminem releasing Infinite almost makes me wonder what would have happened if he didn't head into doing over the top music. I can't imagine him being as popular today, but it would be interesting to have seen what would have happened.
