It's that time of year again! Indie pop? Rock? CanCon artists no one knows? It must be...Pipa's Top 100 of 2012! Last year I made snippets of all 100 songs on the chart. Knowing that's a little overwhelming, this year I've made them in groups of ten. Enjoy!

6/10, off to a good start! So, how do songs like Helena Beat and Big Wheels end up on a 2012 chart? I'm curious how you determined that since I was having trouble with the ones I asked about. Bangarang would for sure be on mine, but we have different criteria it seems. It missed mine by a few days!

Those songs were #13 at the beginning of the year. Simple as that.

Ah, makes sense.
Enjoyed the mix, by the way. Every song sounds better to me when it's a clip of it and it's mixed amongst others, for whatever reason (even Phillip).

I usually get about 75% on your weekly charts, so I'm looking to get around that. We'll see.

10/10 LOL! One of these are on mine, and a few others were strongly considered. My total: 17/20.

Man, even though I don't like a lot of these songs, the audio mixes are awesome. Nice job!

7/10. Most of 21 was pretty disappointing to me when compared to a few others from the album, but I'll Be Waiting sounds pretty good now. Face To The Floor would be near my top for 2011. I do like how yours includes stuff like that, though. 7/10. Finally listened to Legendary Child via this. Not as bad as I'd thought it would be, but not my thing. Same thing in my mix...Sixteen Saltines sounds like total crap when played right next to another song. Different mixing, I suppose. 38/50

You gotta love Ellie Goulding right next to Nonpoint. That's just priceless.

That set flowed really well together. You could call it variety done right.

Wow, a couple of 9/10s (64/80). Judging by how close they are, I'm guessing it was hard to decide between Gold On The Ceiling/Lonely Boy and Viking Death March/Surprise, Surprise.

7/10 (71/90) On pace to hit the 75 I expected. I am surprised to see the Arkells that high, and I sorta figured #12 and #13 would be top 10. Looking forward to that, though.
