The song has its poppy aspects, but at the end of the day she sounds really, really country here. It's almost comical how redneck she sounds in some parts of it.
The lyrical theme is a little surprising. Reminds me of "Hey Joe" by Jimi Hendrix, but instead of the man killing his cheating woman the roles have been reversed.
