They've been around since 2005, this is the one song from them I like. Everything that came out after this sounds exactly the same though IMO.

These two bands have pretty similar sounds I actually think The Fray is much more alternative-based (Counting Crows, Gin Blossoms, Matchbox, etc.) - to me, Tedder's writing doesn't have any of that 90s Alternative edge to it, just straight up pop with simple lyrics Anyhow, the first song I've ever liked by One Republic was Good Life, and I like most stuff by The Fray, so I voted for The Fray!!

Ironically enough, after "You Found Me" pleasantly surprised me back when and became one of my favourites, I actually have more anticipation for new Fray stuff, especially after the disappointment of OneRepublic's latest stuff.
