This song peaked at #5 on Alternative in 1995, and remains a '90s rock classic to this day. I find this to be one of the most sad and captivating songs ever made.

My bad. I was using popradiotop20 and I guess I read the chart wrong.
Johnny Cash's cover is kind of bad IMO. He sped it up, changed a lyric and just took much of the emotion out of the song.
