I don't think this will have any problem hitting #1, or at least getting close to it. Blake Shelton has evolved from just another singer on the country format to one of the genre's hottest stars.

i think honey bee and the voice make him become one hot new star in country format. i read somewhere that says he never expect honey bee would become a big hit.

it started off and I was not really digging it, but I am over all really impressed by this. The beat is giving me life.

I loved Honey Bee. First song by Blake I liked. But while the album was nice, I didn't see any possible next single. God Gave Me You is boring to me. Might grow on me later, but for now, I think this is not deserving of the success it's getting.

^i do not understand about you mentioning it being boring.
the lyrics and the heart felt vocal are what is the song's about.

i think honey bee and the voice make him become one hot new star in country format. i read somewhere that says he never expect honey bee would become a big hit. I think his 3 previous #1 singles were a bigger contributor to that. Anyway... Dave Barnes' version >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Blake's version But I do like Blake's version, because he sings it in a lower key that is SO much easier for me to sing along to!

Blake has been around since 2001. This is his 8th album. Each of his previous albums had at least one top 5 single, and most had a #1. "Austin", "Ol Red", "Some Beach", "Home", "She Wouldn't Be Gone", "All About Tonight", "Who You Are When I'm Not Looking", and the dreadful "Hillbilly Bone". The latter 3 all were #1s and were what catapulted him to his superstardom today. "Honey Bee" just added to it.
