6 Mims - This Is Why I'm Hot When it comes to those random rap big hits from the 2000's... this sticks out in my mind as one of the worst. Take a monotone, repetitive, dull beat and put a no-talent hack rapping over it with extremely stupid, egotistical lyrics... isn't that like every other rap song that appeared on here? Who cares if he says he's hot because he's fly.... because this song ain't because he's not. This is why, this is why, this is why the song sucks. Not to mention, using a name like "Mims" makes him sound like a sissy rapper, and using the backronym "Music Is My Savior" doesn't make him sound badass at all... it makes him sound even more foolish!

5 Soulja Boy - Crank That Well, it should be clear by now why I hate Soulja Boy... so let's just recap. A cheap beat that anyone could've made, a rapper with no talent, stupid lyrics, disgusting lyrics (seriously, I did NOT need to know what "Superman dat ho" meant, that's TMI!), and pretty much every other cliché all in one. And of course, the stupid dance to go along with it made it even worse... the immense proliferation of this piece of crap in mainstream society really shows how bad taste some of the population has. However, I managed to find four songs worse than "Crank That", which just shows how much the rest of the songs have to suck! Before I move on to the top 4, let's see exactly how anyone could've made the beat for "Crank That"... that's how cheap it is. I forgot the link for the original video I saw demonstrating it, but you get the idea that anyone could've made the beat.

4. Chingy - Right ThurrThis song is wrong on so many levels. First, it has the obligatory annoying, repetitive beat, combined with really stupid lyrics and a voice that rivals Lil' Wayne in sounding like nails on a chalkboard. Not to mention, what an extremely annoying misspelled title... if he thinks he did it to sound gangsta, he only made himself look like a fool. For me, while there'd been an era for several years before this where I'd pretty much enjoyed everything on top 40 radio, the fact that this piece of crap was such a huge hit was the beginning of a downfall that would last for many agonizing years after this. However, despite my hate for a lot of the rap of the 00's... only one of the top 3 songs is rap!

3. Aaron Carter - Aaron's Party (Come Get It)So I've made no secret of my hate for Aaron Carter over the years, being a no-talent hack who was exploited by his parents because his brother was already a superstar. The difference between them is, Nick Carter actually has talent that his younger brother Aaron lacks. The song is basically about Aaron hosting a party when his parents are away, but using the stupidest lyrics possible. I do complain a lot about rappers who try to sing (especially Lil' Wayne, most recently on "How To Love"), but this was one case of a singer who not only can't sing... he can't rap either! The "come get it" hook in the chorus is extremely annoying as well, and he's trying too hard to sound badass but he only makes himself sound like a total fool. This has everything that's bad about Aaron Carter's career, all in one song... and really sums up his annoyance perfectly, easily ranking as his highest entry. I do actually like one of his songs (that being "To All The Girls"), but the rest of his career can suck it for being horrible.

2. Lil' Jon & the Eastside Boyz feat. Ying Yang Twins - Get LowWell, in the runner-up spot, it's the signature song for the artist with easily the most annoying voice in the music business. (Yes, his voice is even MORE annoying than Lil' Wayne!) This song pretty much has all the clichés that made so many of the songs on this list as bad as they are (seriously, TMI @ some of the lyrics in here... we really did not need to know THAT!) Not only that, but this song spawned off a trend of "crunk" songs that continued to annoy me to no end. Crunk has to be the most annoying trend in music history that pretty much made pop radio unlistenable for several years. I bet a lot of the "classic" rappers would be reeling their heads at the mess that Lil' Jon had turned rap into... and indeed, this is my most hated rap song ever. However, one song managed to beat it out... so who could've been annoying enough to be worse than Lil' Jon? 1. Jason Mraz - I'm YoursWell, if you don't know my taste that well, you're probably scratching your head, thinking how Jason Mraz could have my most hated song of all time. Let's just recap, explaining why I hate this song so much. Of course, an artist like Lil' Jon really has no expectations that their song will be good as I generally hate him... but take a case like Jason Mraz. He'd had several songs that I'd liked before this such as "The Remedy" and "Wordplay", so I had high hopes for his return. However, when I first heard this song, I felt it had something missing, and just wasn't up to par with his usual quality. I found it kinda boring, lacking the catchiness and quirky lyrics of his earlier songs, thinking "Oh, this'll flop, I'll forget about it in a few months". Oh, how wrong I was... Fast forward a few months, and while still hoping this song would grow on me, it became a big hit. However, I just couldn't get into it at all, and it started to annoy me a lot. What really set this song apart from others on the list are several factors, the first being that, if I wanted to avoid many of the rap songs on the list, I could just listen to Hot AC... this song didn't have that option, as it was a huge Hot AC hit, so it pretty much became unavoidable, much to my annoyance. So in a way, not being a typical style I normally hate songs from worked against Jason Mraz here and made me hate his song even more. But the big kicker was the fact that this annoying crap REFUSED TO GO AWAY! It kept breaking longevity records, kept getting overplayed... and annoyed me more and more every time I heard it. Not to mention, he even remixed it with Lil' Wayne (though I've avoided that version as I'm sure it would suck - take 2 negatives and you surely don't get a positive!) Its continued overplay has assured that it has become my most hated song of all time, and is unlikely to give up that title for a long time.
