So we have all heard storys about the horrible labels that it is their mission to destroy some of their artists. My question to you is which one do you think is the worst and why?

I will start and say RCA. They have screwed over a lot of artists by not letting them branch off and do what the artist wants to do. To me they seem to keep their artists chained in a dungeon and are only allowed to take a few steps outside sometimes for air.

I made a post on Twitter recently saying something along the lines of, "If I was a singer the two labels I'd never want to be on are RCA and Hollywood."

So is Jive the worst ? LOL Jive and RCA are the same now are they not? People seem to be forgetting the mess that is Hollywood Records. Who pretty much only give out 1 single, then the 2nd single is left for its self since they do not want to put money into it.

i know Atlantic Records is pretty bad. they wouldn't let Weird Al parody one of their artist's songs, and the artist wanted him to!! but anyways, I really cant pick a "worst label". they all have their faults and benefits. Hollywood Records doesnt go crazy with the money for their artists, but they give their artists the most amazing songs ever. RCA can sometimes be a douche and give no freedom to their artists, but sometimes (like now with Kelly), they actually DO try very hard to get their artist to do well. Then theres Jive who argues a lot and chooses dumb singles but they seem to push for their artists. Interscope is maybe the best
