Are you two getting back together? This is the perfect song though to listen to while you're going through that Oh I don't know.....we'll see how dinner goes. We've been talking alot lately and we've been at bars/parties around each other and things are going well. I need to stay on track with school and really dont want anything serious where it takes my mind off my goal yet I do miss him dearly.

LOL @ that new name. New trend? I Am.....Late Wintah I think Beyonce took her urban audience for granted with Single Ladies, but they saw right through her. And I think Pop and Rhythmic radio are kind of in shock at her doing a pop/rock song. Just making the best out of a awful album title. I'm just so pissed off with the whole era so far. The two singles are a mess, releasing a ballad (which isn't even very good at that) and a s**tty 10th rate GMB, B'day castoff as first singles. Not only that but the whole idea of having two singles is a mess. It still alienates her urban audience, clearly SL is the afterthought just to appease them, and they'll be focusing on IIWAB. And they're not that stupid. And IIWAB is only being released to replicate Irreplaceable, a pop song, not an urban one, which was her only hit off her last album. But its only a tenth as good as Irreplaceable, yes its cute, but its no where near amazing - there is no memorable hook, no urban appeal, the melodies aren't as good. Its a lame attempt at her trying to become an "icon", by channeling Aretha (supposedly) This album is supposed to be her magnus opus, a return to the days of DIL and we get this. Its such a waste, she's one of the most talented women in the game yet she gets s**t songs, while someone like Rihanna gets such epicness as Umbrella. Why couldn't Beyonce do that? She just needed one GREAT single, that incorporated the urban elements of B'day with the dance she'd touched on with the Freemasons, to evolve with the current markets movement to electronica. It would have had enough credibility to be a urban hit, while being good enough to be a hit on Top 40. Instead she releases to wildly different songs, showing she has no f***ing clue what direction she wants to go - either stuck in the hip hop past of B'day which is out of date already on todays pop radio, or trite pop/rock ballads like IIWAB. And she fails to show lyrical growth, still supporting independent women and dissing men, even though she's now married. Its such a mess, and the awfully generic album title, outdated font, and the fact there are only 10 songs on the album fails to make me comfortable about this era. If she's not carefully this will flop harder than B'day. She needs to get her act together quick. SMH. I am... not happy.

I think releasing a pop/rock song was kind of good in theory. Since Beyonce announced her dance plans a year ago, so many urban acts have converted into dance. Even Michelle Williams! If Beyonce had just released another dance song, she wouldn't stand out as much. She'd have to fight with the dance songs from Britney and Christina too. But releasing a song like IIWAB is so unexpected and has people buzzing. Although, yeah it could have been better. But it's not too bad.

She would stand out if it was GOOD, something edgy and innovative, incorporating the best elements of hip hop and dance. Releasing IIWAB may have stans "buzzing" but it will fail to stand out. if you listen to the radio this is not going to make you go OMG WHAT IS THIS? Its dreary, dull and apart from being "edgy" for releasing a ballad, she couldn't have made a less edgy song if she tried. And how is this pop/rock? I don't see it at all.

Hip Hop and Dance combinations are old too though. We already had that last year with Stronger and The Way I Are. Don't forget Big Girls Don't Cry and Who Knew were big pop hits, and Beyonce only had one pop hit last album. And Pop/Rock as in HAC.

And BGDC and WK were 3rd/4th singles, not a f**king 1st single lol. And neither were very good. Her whole logic with this is messed up, and I think this album's chart performance will proove it (However I always doubt the American buying public)

It gives the impression that she got married, grew up and got boring. But I get the impression you really like this and I don't know why. We can never agree even if its on a song I should like LOL.

You don't want your biggest hit to be the third/fourth single though. Fergie was a new artist and they were still figuring her out and Pink was recovering from her flop period.
I don't like this song that much. But I think from all the new singles from the major artists lately, I do like this the most.

If that is true this album and the future singles will be beyond shit. This couldn't be released 3rd because it would flop, this will only do well as its the first single, so it has hype and surpressed downloads. And pretty much all the first singles are underpar, artists these days think they can release mediocre first singles and get away with it. I hope they learn, and I'm surprised Beyonce didn't after DV and RTA.

So that means the other 60 were much worse
