Wasn't there someone on youtube who had an arrangement that sounded like that? I think Derek posted it or something. I think it sounds like they stole the arrangement were inspired by it. I kind of like it though.

THINKING OF YOU IS HER BEST. That's her worst single imo.

I was shocked at that When is the last time a Glee song hit #1? DSB?

I was shocked at that When is the last time a Glee song hit #1? DSB? Uh no. Plenty of Glee songs have hit #1. 'Toxic' and 'Empire State of Mind' both hit #1 recently.

I mean on the digital sales chart. Where they #1 there also?

no, i don't think any glee song has ever been #1 on the digital sales chart. they always drop fast 2-3 days after the show airs.

I thought DSB made it though hmm

It went to #2 on Hot Digital Songs. DSB was stronger than most, that's how it's the only Glee song to go Top 10 on The Hot 100

Maybe DJ was onto something. Are the popularity bars for the other #1s usually that high? This might be the 2nd Glee Top 10 Hot 100 single But then again, it makes sense. They've never covered a song as current as TD. The closest they came before was Telephone and that was already a few seasons apart.

I knew I was on to something. Something about TD being #1 feels like an "event" It must have been that video of Kurt looking at his future lover that make people want to buy it

Nah, it's more about what I said. They never covered a song that current before, TD is still in the Top 10. Although, maybe the timing is right, you know since the latest trend is "exploiting" gay rights, and maybe this is part of it

"Billionaire" was top 20 when they covered it.

Yeah, but not Top 10, and Billionaire was never as big as TD

Billboard is reporting that Glee‘s version of “Teenage Dream” is on track to have the single-best sales week ever for a song from the show. Released on Tuesday, the song reportedly sold 55,000 copies in its first day — the highest of any Glee track to date — via iTunes, and is predicted to sell between 150,000 to 175,000 downloads by Sunday, Nov. 14.

How did DSB crack the Top 10 then? Weaker chart?

No, back then for a top 10 placing you needed roughly 180-190 points now it's over 200. It's because the digital market is bigger.

That's what I meant A weaker standard (not like a weaker chart that week)
