I swear; the '90s had so many awesome songs that I'll never discover them all. This 1996 hit has THE sound that makes me love this time period. They sound a lot like Matchbox 20, and this song hit #7 on CHR.

Great song! Didn't know who sang it until after it was out though, but I did hear it plenty back then.

Good song - basically a Counting Crows imitation band though
An even better song by Dog's Eye View is "Last Letter Home" - you guys should check it out!!

They sound a lot like Matchbox 20 Funny thing is - they came first (by at least a year), so I wonder if Rob Thomas was inspired by them...

I just checked out "Last Letter Home" and it was pretty good too! This one definitely sounded a lot like Counting Crows to me, whereas it was the other one that reminded me more of MB20.

^Yeah, I think it's really weird that Dog's Eye View came before MB20 - I kind of feel like Push was inspired by Everything Falls Apart

^(EDIT) Just found out that it was - Peter Stuart of DEV and Rob Thomas were buddies, and Stuart ended up touring with them and singing backup vocals in the late 90s and early 2000s

That's awesome! ;D That makes a lot of sense. He was probably glad to be on tour with one of the biggest bands of that time, too.
