tobyMac never disappoints damn. spoke too soon. this is NOT a typical tobyMac song, unfortunately. thats what i was looking forward too. on first listen, i am very disappointed. but i know it will grow on me. its just not what i expected. |

Nope. Yeah, I'm a little disappointed too, but with the success he's been having with more AC-oriented songs lately, I expected this. I hope we get something like "Extreme Days" or "Boomin'" out of this era, just for a change of pace.

He's also releasing a COOK Single later this year (either late November or early December, I can't remember). I haven't even heard of a date for the new album, and I don't expect it until February. :-\

This made a great debut on the C AC Indicator chart at #22... It's New & Active on the regular C AC chart, which means it's lined up for a top 20 debut on the chart next week I bet.
Also, it smashed into CHR at #14.

^Awesome! That's great to see a Christian song like this doing that well in sales.
After being out only 2 weeks, it's already top 5 on CHR. It also debuted at number 17 at AC... Now begins the wait for the tedious runs at number one, which this will be sure to do for at least 2 months on CHR and probably a month at least on AC.
