The follow up of worldwide smash "Somebody i used to know".
This is too short as a song. I love the video though. It reminds us of our pathetic life.

The first thing I notice about this song is that it's much more rock than the first single. It sounds like a big Alternative hit waiting to happen, but like you said it is much too short to be a big hit. What did you mean about the video?

"Eyes Wide Open" was actually the first single from his album, Making Mirrors. "Somebody..." was the second single. This was released as the promotional single last year but somehow a music video came out, so it assume that this is the third single. Here is the music video.

That was very Radiohead-ish. It also doesn't hold a candle to "Somebody", sadly.

Yeah, I do enjoy listening to the track, but this is a very short song for a single. You'd think they'd make a radio version but maybe they're just expressing their "artistic freedom". Eyes Wide Open is a MUCH better choice, imo.

BTW, what kind of camera work was used for the video? It looks like it might be stop motion or they're just speeding a recording of the players walking really slow so it looks cartoony when they walk at "normal speed" in the finished product (hope my "technical terms" didn't confuse anyone
