A lot of other people are doing year-end charts, so I figured I would join the party. This top 30 is loosely based on my points for the year, but it's not exact because I lost a lot of chart info when my old computer crashed. All titles will be hotlinks to the songs. Thanks to Picpak, JessieLou and FreakyFlyBry for the formatting ideas. ;D This first section features five artists who had never hit my chart until 2011. 30) Alexandra Stan - Mr. SaxobeatPEAK: #4We kick things off with one of the more unique hits of 2011, a dance track that stood out in a year where dance music dominated the pop chart. 29) Britney Spears - CriminalPEAK: #3While "Criminal" has been the least successful of Britney's Femme Fatale singles, it was the only one of them to hit my chart. It peaked at #3 in November. 28) Rachel Platten - 1000 ShipsPEAK: #3When it comes to singer-songwriters, I am not easily impressed. But this song is wonderful. 27) Alter Bridge - All Hope Is GonePEAK: #3I normally don't chart album tracks, but this is one that I couldn't resist. 26) Redlight King - Old ManPEAK: #7Despite only reaching #7, this song had longevity which lands it a spot on the year-end chart. This song was unique for being a rap-rock tune that sampled Neil Young.

My chart is unpredictable. It can always be anybody's time to shine if they release a good song.

Go Rise Against!
I don't need to listen to the Shakira song. That cover is enough.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
And Rise Against had an even bigger hit on my chart in 2009, which was their #1 smash "Audience Of One." I doubt they will ever top that with me.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Good. Yes, yes, very good. And Rise Against had an even bigger hit on my chart in 2009, which was their #1 smash "Audience Of One." I doubt they will ever top that with me. Funny that that's one of their more forgotten singles. I loved it too though.

If you think the single cover is good, you should click on the hotlink and see the video. Especially the second half. I feel no guilt for liking the video lol. One thing I notice about my year-end chart is that it's really lacking heavier rock compared to 2010.

One thing I notice about my year-end chart is that it's really lacking heavier rock compared to 2010. Yeah, my chart has its moments, but yours is incredibly poppy.

10) 10 Years - Fix MePEAK: #1 for 4 weeksWhat do you know, 10 Years is at #10! This was an excellent song with one of the best videos of 2011. I don't care what MTV says, this video is way better than anything the Poo Fighters have put out in recent years. 9) Nickelback - When We Stand TogetherPEAK: #1 for 4 weeksNickelback continued their tradition of excellence with this song about peace and unity. 8) Pop Evil - Monster You MadePEAK: #2This song spent an impressive 6 weeks at #2. I hotlined to the acoustic version because I strongly prefer it over the single version. 7) Bush - The Sound Of WinterPEAK: #1 for 2 weeksSometimes when the band gets back together, it's a good thing. This was one of those times. 6) Alter Bridge - IsolationPEAK: #1 for 3 weeksThis is everything I would ever want a song to be.

Rabiosa is a cool song, but it's repetitive. And the cover of the single has nothing to do with the video. I also like the Bush song. The cover is amazing!

I know, but she looks good in the cover and in the video. ;D The Bush single cover is really cool, especially since most rock bands nowadays use generic ones. After reading this chart so far, I feel like I don't know KP at all Why do you say that?
Dude - are you sure it's the song you like, and not her body? Here's a good test - if this were "Wet" by Adele, would you still like it?

Dude - are you sure it's the song you like, and not her body? Here's a good test - if this were "Wet" by Adele, would you still like it?
LOL! If it was the exact same song, I would like it. But knowing Adele, it would be something really artsy and hard to follow. And I'm sure the video wouldn't be as good. I think it's funny how you don't ask that about Lady GaGa and others. 5) Naked And Famous - Young BloodPEAK: #2This hypnotic tune is the biggest non-#1 hit of the year for me. 4) Lady Gaga - The Edge Of Glory PEAK: #1 for 5 weeksIf you ask me, 2011 was the best year pop music had in awhile, and this song was easily my favorite. I would say this is one of my favorite pop songs of all-time. 3) Foster The People - Pumped Up KicksPEAK: #1 for 5 weeksThis song had two seperate runs on my chart. The first came in February and March, and the second lasted from May through July. It was during the second run that it had a 5-week reign on top. 2) Alter Bridge - Ghost Of Days Gone ByPEAK: #1 for 7 weeksAn incredible song. This is what music is all about. 1) Stone Sour - HesitatePEAK: #1 for 11 weeksI'm sure you saw this coming. ;D With 11 weeks at #1 and 31 weeks in the top 10, this song set records on my chart that may never be broken. I used to think no song could have a bigger impact on me personally than "Far Away" by Nickelback did, but I was wrong. This song did. Thanks for checking out my year-end chart.
