Many celebrities have joined the fight to help the victims of the Haiti quake and now Simon Cowell has joined the bandwagon.
Simon is collaborating with The Sun to record a charity single for the newspaper’s Helping Haiti campaign. The Idol judge has already negotiated a deal with Prime Minister Brown to waive the tax for sales of the track.
Beyonce, Robbie Williams, Lady GaGa and Wyclef Jean are already on board to help the cause and Susan Boyle and Leona Lewis a rumored to join as well.
“I wanted to do something for Haiti so when I had calls from The Sun and the Prime Minister asking if I would get involved I agreed immediately,” said Simon. “We are going to do a single. We only made the decision today. I have got to get it together in 48 hours.”

This won't be better than Just Stand Up! or even Send It On.

It won't be better than "Just Stand Up!" but you can't get any worse than "Send It On" so I'm sure it will be better than that.

Just because Carrie was on JSU doesn't mean it is the best thing

Did I say I only liked it because of Carrie? No. The message was great and every artist did phenomenal on it. Does it help that Carrie is on it? Sure, but that is not the only reason I liked it.
Also, I don't care for Wyclef Jean, and will definitely not like it if Susan Boyle and Leona Lewis are on it. yuck.

Miley Cyrus and Susan Boyle? Why can't they just sing their own song, and not destroy a good song? Because the music fans of today are so narrow-minded that they would completely ignore R.E.M. if they recorded a track for Haiti.

wow what a fail list. Miley is the only good one on there You have to remember this is the UK charity single. They aren't going to oversaturate it with US artists when they have plenty of well known artists in their own country.

Yeah I figured this was the UK's charity single... still there aren't many good people on it. Glad to see James Morrison on it! Bon Jovi and Bublé are also good additions
