I guess couple of years is kind of general, but in the last 2 or 3 years I guess.
Mine are,
Britney Spears - Circus (not just the stan in me, i love this album a lot for some reason - way better than all of her other albums) Jesse McCartney - Departure Kate Voegele - Don't Look Away Lady Gaga - The Fame Monster
Definitely my most favorite of the past couple of years.

I've gotta give it to GaGa. "The Fame Monster" is a fantastic album. "GGGB: Reloaded" and "Breakaway" are really good too.

"Circus" "All I Ever Wanted"

Yeah, Fame Monster's pretty solid. More people should do that in the future. Less tracks, therefore less filler. The original Fame was and sounded cheap Nice to see IASF there too. I have an issue with the claps on the album and some production, but as a collection of songs, it's fairly solid.

I'd also like to add Hilary duff's Dignity album. There's not really that much filler - its a solid pop album

lol i am stating my opinion. i don't think those albums are very memorable. obviously i love David Archuleta but i would never consider his album the best of the decade. i love DMB but i wouldn't consider their latest the best of the decade.

I think that might be the worst album of the decade and I'm being serious.

800k is not "more than most albums released this decade" and no said any of these albums were memorable. we were talking about our PERSONAL favorites. and before you go talking sh*t, Imogen's album is very critically acclaimed but alas, it was my personal favorite. love every single song on the album.

I like David's album. lots of catchy stuff. Barriers A Little Too Not Over You Crush My Hands To Be With You and my favorite... You Can are all great songs IMO but i would have agreed if you were talking about DMB's album being the worst of the decade

800k is not "more than most albums released this decade" and no said any of these albums were memorable. we were talking about our PERSONAL favorites. and before you go talking sh*t, Imogen's album is very critically acclaimed but alas, it was my personal favorite. love every single song on the album. there is like 30 albums that sold over 800k this year. there is probably like 300-400 albums this decade that sold that and probably 10,000 albums release this decade so yes 800k is more than most albums have sold this decade and i know you were talking about personal favorites. i was just saying i would try and pick something more balanced. And for it being acclaimed... rolling stone 3/5 pitchfork 6.4/10 popmatters 6/10 allmusic 4/5 about.com 5/5 24.4/35 70% Average that is not "very critically acclaimed" to use your words. it is average at best
