1-2 last week Chris Brown, With You (up 8.8% in total audience): With a mighty leap (an audience gain percentage even higher than last week's 7.3%), Brown edges Flo Rida and settles in for what should be a lengthy stay at the top.

2-1 Flo Rida, Low (+0.2%): A rare instance of a record falling to No. 2 despite gaining in audience. If this chart awarded bullets or gold stars or whatever, Low would still merit one. Should stay in second for a while -- it has 144 million audience impressions compared to No. 3's 90 million, and that's a big gap to make up.

3-3 Alicia Keys, No One (-8.2%): Should finally start to accelerate its descent next week, when it could be overtaken by as many as three records below it this week, including her own follow-up.

4-4 Timbaland & OneRepublic, Apologize (-2.8%): Every time it appears to be ready to commence freefall, it picks back up. This week it more than halved its rate of decline, and was able to hold its position. That's unlikely next week, but you just never know with a song that no one seems to be tiring of.

5-6 Alicia Keys, Like You'll Never See Me Again (+0.6%): Reverses course into the positive zone and returns to the top 5. If it can sustain that turnaround, it should pass its predecessor next week and possibly move to No. 4.

6-7 Rihanna, Don't Stop the Music (+10.9%): More than triples its rate of growth, back to double figures, and positions itself for a big jump next week, when its momentum ought to carry it all the way up to No. 3.

7-5 Snoop Dogg, Sensual Seduction (-6.8%): Snoop's romance with the vocoder took him to the top 5, but now Akon and T-Pain want it back and Snoop's heading for a fall.

8-9 Keyshia Cole, I Remember (+1.8%): Picks up a little but doesn't seem too likely to get higher in the future.

9-8 J. Holiday, Suffocate (-0.8%): Scrapping to hang in there but may soon be a top 10 casualty.

10-11 Webbie, Independent (+3.5%): Reverses last week's decline just in time to sneak into the top 10, where it may not endure for the long haul.

A number of potentially massive new (or newish) hits lurk in the 11-21 range of the chart. Sara Bareilles' Love Song didn't quite have the juice to make it this week, but still climbed from No. 13 to No. 11 with a robust 13.5% gain. Even hotter is Mariah Carey's new Touch My Body, which zoomed 22-13 in its second week on the chart. (Could anyone have devised a safer kickoff single than this? It's got the requisite sexual innuendo, a tune (or lack of same) that could have been fashioned by musically inclined robots in some R&B/pop crossover factory, and lots of trademark Mariah vocal runs while retaining the more contemporary flavor of her last album. We Belong Together, last album's lead single, was a significant departure from her past and quite possibly her best single ever. This is dull and dreary by comparison.)

And even hotter than Mariah is Usher's new one, Love in This Club, featuring Young Jeezy, which jumps 51-21 in its second week with an almost-unheard-of 83% audience gain, nearly doubling its initial total. (Haven't heard it yet, but it's so nice to see him singing about something fresh, like amorous pursuits in a nightclub.)

Finally, although they're in danger of being overshadowed by Mariah and Usher, Linkin Park's Shadow of the Day (19-15, +9.1% in audience) and Lupe Fiasco's Superstar (23-16, +12.5%) are also strong contenders.

You've read about two of 'em (Usher and Mariah). The other song with better than a 20% audience gain is George Strait's I Saw God Today, shaping up to be his biggest hit in a while with a 75-58 chart move and a 23.7% gain.
