Lead single for the Greatest Hits album. I have no hopes for this.

old Kenny >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> new Kenny It's kinda like that with any mainstream artists who's been around a while though - not just him.

Kenny is incapable of making good music.

Kenny is incapable of making good music. Now he is. He used to be an amazing artist. Now he's just annoying, obnoxious and completely overrated.

How/Why did this go Top 20 on The Hot 100? Was it performed somewhere or used in some show/commercial?

This is one of my least favorite Chesney songs to date. And it's a shame, because his Poets&Pirates album was really good (not to mention most of his stuff before that).
Lately, he hasn't been very impressive.

Nothing weird about that. Country song aren't usually repressed so I was surprised it made that leap and was asking where it came from.

It has good airplay and wasn't this in the top 10 on iTunes the other day?

Yeah, even the full GH album wasn't on iTunes for like a month after it was physically released. So it was already top 3 on Country when it was released on iTunes.

"Shiftwork" peaked at #4 on my chart.
I actually like the first two singles from that album a lot better though, but I wasn't really following country at the time.

Don't Blink Never Wanted Nothing More
are amazing songs. And the last to come from Chesney unfortunately. He needs to make music like those 2 songs and like his "When The Sun Goes Down" and "The Road And The Radio" albums.
