I usually just go by which ever song has the most plays in a week period, as that is my true #1 of the week. Does that mean that as a result my chart has a higher turn over rate? Perhaps but it's accurate. I never really understood the concept of delaying the chart like 3 weeks so a song can "build" to #1 and then stay there for like ever when you are constantly playing more songs more then you are your current "#1".
