It isn't released yet is it! And whilst I like the album as much as 20 Yrs Old, the half song/interlude crap is too much, so no I don't think I will spend the money on this one.

www.redlasso.com/ClipPlayer.aspx?id=4711ca76-f4e0-44c4-97e2-14059c5cfcceI can't believe Janet can't pull that song off live. I don't even know what's worse, the fact that she dared to lyp synch that stupid song, the fact that the dancers are way better than her, the fact that she is obviously hiding her fatness or the tiny little fact that the pre-recorded vocals SUCK.

Nevermind the fact that the performance wasn't that great, but WHY is she STILL promoting Feedback when they sent Rock With U for Pop adds? LOL! What a mess this era is turning out to be so far.

I don't think they aired it cuz the only videos I have seen from GMA are Flopback and That's The Way Flop Goes.

Underwhelming. For someone of her "icon" status that's like horrible. She can't sing live. The pre-recorded vocals are a mess. Her dancers are better than her. She looks bored. It's just plain and pathetic all around. Thank God she's going to bomb.
I must say though, the live instrumentation and arrangment is REALLY hot. Too bad she sucks.

The more rockish arrangement is good. I always thought a song called Feedback should have more guitar in it. The opening riff could have been more cohesive with the rest of the song though. It was like they waited too long and the gap between them made it feel disconnected.

She was a mess on TRL today. Homegirl should have gotten some sleep. She said she's been up since 9 yesterday and it showed because she was so out of it. when she wasn't talking she was falling asleep.. By the way, the lindsey girl, she's hot but i can't stand to listen to her she's so stupid and annoying!
Anyway, Discipline. I downloaded it and . I think the producers should have saved the songs on someone who can actually sing. I don't have a problem with the album itself, it's just Janet can't sing. plain and simple. Feedback suits her voice well, and a couple of the other songs on the album do too. But there is just too much hot beats on this album to be wasted on Tranet.
2nite sounds like a Brooke song. btw.
and those interludes. Heffa needs to stop. They are SO dumb, and when i'm listening to them I can picture her alien face standing in the studio recording them. so they don't work.
Anyways after all that negativity, some hot jams. but this album will most likely bomb.

HDD:
Next week, IDJ’s new Janet Jackson album, Discipline, will undoubtedly top the chart, with Universal Motown’s Erykah Badu, Asylum’s Webbie and Shawty Lo, as well as DPR’s Dolly Parton also hitting the streets at press time. Mariah Carey’s eagerly awaited IDJ album E=MC2, with a hit single already in “Touch My Body,” reaches retail April 15. And not a moment too soon, we might add.

Some great news. Discipline is up to #3 on iTunes. it has already out peaked 20 Yrs Old.
This is made me smile:

And these chart position are very promising (even though Feedback has really done nothing to help get the album this high... it is baffling.)
#2 Greece #3 USA #3 Australia #4 Japan #5 Canada #7 Belgium #7 Spain #7 Norway #11 New Zealand #20 Italy #20 Switzerland #20 Netherlands #21 Denmark #27 Ireland #30 France #37 UK #45 Finland

Feedback on GMA was just... . I honestly feel that even Britney did a better job at the VMA's than that.

At least we will get her 6th #1 and yeah its bad, but her sinlge is a FLOP. But like Theo said:
"Well, a reminder that so called more "popular" artists like Fergie & Rihanna opened with smaller numbers than that. The market is ... *sings Mary* "i'm going down ..."
LOL.
