taylor swift is not a singer. she writes mediocre teen songs. she may not be a great singer, but there is no denying she is one of the most talented songwriters in country music.

^ Honestly I'm not even a little worried. I have seen so many songs slow down that much in the top 10 and then go on to get #1 that a bullet that low is not even a cause for concern anymore. lol

still, i am scared. cuz if this slows too much, Rascal Flatts and Carrie Underwood will block it from #1! Rodney Atkins and Tim McGraw look like a threat now too! and maybe even Jake Owen!

@ even the possibility of I Told You So going #1. Country radio will literally eat up anything by Carrie.

"I Told You So" is a beautiful song. its one of my favorite vocals form Carrie, possibly my favorite. the song is very old fashioned but if George Strait and Alan Jackson can still pull it off and get hits no doubt Carrie can.
ITYS is guaranteed a spot in the top 3, hopefully she can go higher. if it gets that high, i hope her label will push it so it gets at least one week at #1

I just have a lot of disdain for I Told You So because it's my least favorite Carrie single to date and they chose it over gems like You Won't Find This, Flat On The Floor and Get Out Of This Town.

ITYS is the bomb. It shows off that while Carrie can deliver upbeat catchy hits like Taylor, she can also slow it down and be the classic country artiste she truly is.

Big Machine recording artist Taylor Swift, who this week spends her 9th week at the top of Billboard’s all-genre Top 200 Albums sales chart, has now reached #1 at pop radio. “Love Story” is the first country crossover to land at #1 on CHR/Top 40 in the 16-year history of Billboard’s Nielsen BDS chart. “Love Story,” which Taylor wrote by herself, is the lead single from Taylor’s already-triple platinum sophomore release Fearless, and this week hit #1 on the Nielsen BDS CHR/Top 40 chart, which appears in trade publications Radio & Records and Billboard, as well as #1 on the Mediabase Top 40 Chart, which appears in USA Today. Additionally, “Love Story” is now the country song with the most paid downloads in history. “Love Story” spent two weeks at #1 on the Country singles charts in November, and “White Horse,” the second single released from Fearless, is currently Top 10 and climbing the country radio charts.
This week “White Horse” became the first video ever to debut at #1 on CMT’s Top 20 Countdown, reaching #1 after just one week on CMT and CMT.com. “White Horse” also made history as the biggest debut ever on CMT.com, and is CMT’s most streamed video of the year to date.
Taylor is featured on the cover and in an accompanying 8 page spread in the March 5th issue of Rolling Stone, on stands this week. This marks Taylor’s second appearance on the legendary magazine’s cover inside of a year – she was also featured on the cover of their May, 2008 Best of Rock issue, alongside of Bono, Madonna, Lil Wayne and Bruce Springsteen, among others. Also this month, Taylor appears on the covers of the March issues of Self and Teen Vogue magazines.
Taylor topped Nielsen SoundScan’s all-genre year-end music sales report as 2008’s top-selling artist, and will tour as a headliner for the first time this year. TAYLOR SWIFT’S FEARLESS TOUR 2009 will visit 52 cities in the US and Canada, and all available tickets for the first five shows to go on sale sold out within minutes.
Taylor recently taped a guest-starring appearance CBS’s top-rated CSI, one of her all-time favorite shows. In the episode airing March 5th, Taylor plays Haley Jones, a troubled teen whose parents run a seedy Vegas motel.
Taylor, who last week received two Academy of Country Music Award nominations, is currently in the UK making promotional appearances in support of the March 9th European release of Fearless.

it will. George & B&D are no threat. Darius cant be #1 forever, and her label will give it a push before Rascal Flatts/Rodney Atkins/Jake Owen get too close.
