I'm Not Dead was critically acclaimed too Jen. As a matter of fact, I think it got better reviews than B'Day. It didn't win any Grammy's, but it also was submitted in 06 for the 07 Grammy's and the album didn't become bigger until 07. They shouldn't have submitted it in 06. But oh well.

It'll be Mariah again most likely. Beyonce will be 2nd. Madonna's s**t is going to SUCK. Janet already bombed. Leona only has 1 good song on that album. Jordin can't sell an album therefore she can't be an IT girl. So yeah, it'll be Mimi most likely or Beyonce. Oh and for 2006 - it was pretty clearly Beyonce. Country artists can't be IT artists because they hardly ever cross over to the mainstream. One single doesn't count. To be honest, I don't think 2006 had an IT girl. All the females were too busy being inconsistent with their hits! lol They were smashing, then flopping and it really never felt like there was ONE girl that stood out among the rest.

And no, I dont think IND was the best. I honestly dont know what album was the best. IND is a great album though. M!ssundaztood is STILL my favorite.
The Dutchess, Loose, IND, FS/LS, all SHIT on B'day. Its no better than Try This or My December. Only a few good tracks imo.

B'Day before the re-release was SOLID, IMO. The only track I didn't like was Kitty Kat. LOL!

I love Beyonce. Shes one of my favs but Bday lacked a lot. Singles werent great and the production could have been better on a lot of tracks.
The only ones I really liked were Irreplaceable, Green Light, Upgrade U, and Suga Mama. lol
IMO RTA, DV, and BL should never have been singles imo. Ruined all chances for a big album. Yes, she sold nicely over time but how many singles did they push and a re-release always helps with a large fanbase.

Eh, I think a lot of people could sell just as much as Beyonce, with a sad ass re-release, and two Christmas season's of selling the album at f***ing 5 dollars...she is pathetic.

Either way, I think Beyonce will still have successful era's, but she'll never be THE it girl.
It's going to be Madonna or Leona this year.

Firstly, Beyonce had already sold 2.5M BEFORE that re-release. That's more than Nelly Furtado or Pink or Avril or any other c**t. And she only had 1 real hit.
Those other bitches had more.
Secondly, her album was NOT sold at 5 dollars the first holiday season! It was only 5 dollars for ONE week in 2007. That added like 200k to her total. Nothing big - you make it seem like that's the only reason she sold.
Lastly, Beyonce was IT Girl in 2003. That is undeniable. And she arugably was in 2006 but that can be debated.
I love when people hate on Beyonce because she is so amazing that she ALWAYS proves everyone wrongs and smashes her way to the top.
H-O-T-T-E-S-T CHICK IN THE GAME! Nobody comes close.

Lol at you thinking sales makes her big, even if they weren't that big. If she lost the US, she'd be over. Done.
And, sorry I was wrong. B'Day was on sale for 6 Dollars at Wal-Mart in 2006. I totally messed up, I apologize.

Beyonce was everwhere last year and for people that aren't on Billboard at all that times, that means a true "it" girl. As Jennifa pointed out, even with one truly big hit she sold millions of copies and that isn't easy to do now a days.
Now for her next year they need to get the singles right and Bee will be outta this world.

I totally messed up, I apologize. Um yeah. Her sales weren't big even though she outsold all the other female artists besides Fergie who's had bucketloads of radio play? Then I guess Nelly, Pink, and the rest of them flopped. Beyone is the biggest female artist out there right now. She has how many endorsement deals - you see her on the TV every 5 seconds. Awards. She wins everything. Her tour was massive. Biggest female tour of last year. Nelly F can't even play an arena! LMAO!!! Avrl can't sell tickets. B'Day was not 6 dollars in 2006. It *might* have been on Black Friday but everyone else is too, so why single her out?

HA at you using Endorsement deals as a reason. All that means to me is that she's okay with whoring herself out.
And no, she didn't have the biggest female tour of 2007. Christina did...she even got recognized by Billboard for it.

Except that when Beyonce makes music that appeals WW, she'll own them too.
B'Day was the most urban thing she's done and it still sold what, 3M outside the US?

Christina did...she even got recognized by Billboard for it. Oh PLEASE. So if I told you that i'd give you 6 MILLION DOLLARS to pose with a phone, you would say no? Just because nobody wants Nelly or Pink or any other ho, doesn't mean you gotta hate on Bee! Beyonce's tour outgrossed Crusty's. Only 28 of Beyonce's dates were reported for some odd reason. Beyonce made 25M with 28 dates. Christina did 48M with 65 dates. Beyonce played nearly a 100 shows total. She killed Christina.

I think what he was meaning though was that Bee doing endorsements doesn't mean the people saw her as an IT girl. Look how many covers & endorsements Katharine McPhee had and she flopped BIG time.
