Entertainment Weekly, Perez Hilton, MTV, and even some radio stations are demanding the Grammy's give appologizes to Moore's family, friends and fans of the band.
They damn well better.

A legendary saxophone player they left out of the segment that showed people who died. They went through the segment over and over, and still left him out although he was included in the booklet people got when they went to the show. He also is one of the few that died that actually one a Grammy award and had 12 nominations Plus he is one of the founders of DMB. Major flop on the Grammy's part.

OH SNAP CRACKLE PUSSY POP! DAVE MATTHEWS REPLIES!
The closest thing to an 'official' reply came from the well-respected music blog Bob Lefsetz, which said (via an email), "(Roi Moore) was... named in the In Memoriam section of the program book along with 274 other deceased musicians. They simply can't fit all 275 people on the telecast. When it was brought to the producer's attention that he was missing from the telecast, it was supposedly too late to add him."
Of course that's simply not true. The way that a video-roll out segment is edited goes basically like this: first the names are selected, then the order is decided. Video is then acquired (still shots or actual video [called b-roll]). This is done by one of the production people for the show, a Production Assistant or Associate Producer. The segment is given a specific time by the producer of the Grammy's, and it is then edited together by a video editor. Once complete, the Producer (or someone he assigns to it) will double-check the segment to assure it's correct. That means that LeRoi Moore was skipped over at the name picking, acquiring of video, editing, and spot check processes in the preparation of the In Memoriam segment. Four times. At least.
As for reaction from the band, Dave and Stefan both commented via their Twitter accounts. Matthews commented, "We all know what a great man Mr. Moore was, we remember him," and "The Grammies (sic) are not my cup of tea." Lessard was a bit more blunt, responding to the snub, "It just goes to show how full of s*** the Grammys have become."

Rocker Kid Rock slammed Jennifer Hudson's performance at the Grammy awards and criticised British band Coldplay too.
Mirror.co.uk quotes Rock as saying: 'Who's Jennifer Hudson? The fat girl?'
Hudson, who won the Grammy for best R&B album for her self-titled release 'Jennifer Hudson', Sunday performed for the first time since the death of her mother, brother and nephew. The three members of her family were shot dead in their home in Chicago in October last year.
Commenting upon Coldplay, Rock said: 'Coldplay was absolutely c**p. Bunch of Pet Shop Boys. The s***tiest f***ing performance I have seen in a long time. The only person who was brilliant was myself.'

Of course you won't reply to the DMB thing. But anyways, I do agree. That was a horrible thing to say about Hudson (not so much Coldplay ) after what happened, but I would not go as far as saying I want buzzards to eat him.

I already stated I was shocked by it when you posted one of the last articles about it.
Its quite sad. There should definitely be something put out there making up and/or apologizing for it. DMB are HUGE. I was pretty shocked by him not being mentioned.

Oh, my bad. I saw your post lol
I just read this update.
A representative from the Grammys are going to provide a press release tomorrow, honoring LeRoi Moore, presumably getting into local papers the following day.

EW.com talked to Jack Sussman, CBS' exec VP of specials and live events, about the last-minute cancellation by Rihanna and Chris Brown, what was up with Justin Timberlake and Al Green, whether the show was ready in case M.I.A. gave birth on stage, and more. Here's the scoop.
When did you learn that Rihanna and Chris Brown weren’t going to make it? The Grammy production team was knee deep in rehearsals at the Staples Center when they first got the call between 1:30 and 2 p.m. Sunday about the no-shows (Rihanna was supposed to immediately follow U2 with a medley of "Disturbia" and "Live Your Life" while Brown was going to sing "Forever" before Kid Rock's performance). "Beyond thinking, I hope they’re okay, it immediately goes out of your mind because you’re too busy thinking about what to do next," says Sussman. Justin Timberlake had just finished rehearsing his duet with T.I. when the team approached him in his dressing room about filling Rihanna's spot with a brand new act. “Justin’s first words were, 'what can I do to help?’” recalls Sussman. “That’s what you want to hear.” It was Timberlake’s idea to perform with Al Green, since the two Memphis natives had once performed "Let’s Stay Together" -- and Green was already in town to present an award with Duffy. The veteran crooner was literally in his hotel bathtub when he got the call to rush to rehearsals, where he and Timberlake had less than two hours to prepare (Brown’s performance was not replaced).
Was it true you had a gurney waiting on the side of the stage while M.I.A., who is set to give birth any day now, was performing? “She went into contractions when the show went on the air and she was not supposed to go on until act 8!” says Sussman. “I asked her to just hang on until 10 ET. The kid’s a gamer...and by the way, the gurney is always there. Every once in a while, someone falls.”
Why didn’t Whitney Houston perform? “We only talked about her being a presenter,” says Sussman.
Did we hear Kanye West correctly? Did Bob Newhart win a Grammy for best new artist? Yes, the running tally is: Newhart, one Best New Artist Grammy, Kanye West, none. Newhart won for "The Button-Down Mind of Bob Newhart" in 1960. West has won several Grammys, including Best Rap Album, but never Best New Artist.
Why so much rap and country in the show? “I called it my musical sardine can,” says Sussman. “You want to make the show embraceable for lots of people, not just niche audiences. We’re a broadcast network TV show, not a narrow-cast cable music show.”
Did you cut categories to make room for more music? For instance, Katy Perry performed "I Kissed a Girl" but her category -- Best Female Pop Vocal Performance -- didn’t air. "Every year it’s different," Sussman said. "Outside of the four or five major awards, the other awards change every year. And performing is better than actually having your category on air. People won’t remember who won best R&B album, but they will remember Jennifer Hudson’s performance.”
Was there an unprecedented number of acts? Yes, says Sussman -- 24 in total!
