Those performers make sense I think. They're all Grammy staples. Plus, this is only the nomination ceremony, so I'm sure there will be more artists who are more contemporary to this year at the real thing.
But I like how Taylor is doing this too even though she will probably do the main show also . She really seems to be hustling and doing every opportunity she gets especially the MTV gigs.

LMAO @ those 'flop' performers! lol Except for Taylor. Anyway, Brit should go for dance nominations cause Im sure she would have a bigger chance to win there, no? They send Gimme More for Pop

I still don't understand the Taylor Swift phenomenon. The girl can't sing to save her life. Well, she can't sing live anyway. Studios do wonders for weak singers. I'll give her props for writing songs that can relate to her age group.

I like Taylor because of her really good lyrics. And she is pretty cute I think she has indeed gotten better from the handful of performances I have seen. She was good at the AMA but horrible at the CMA.

songs like White Horse, Tim McGraw, and Teardrops On My Guitar fit her voice better.

i just think she struggles with the high notes on some songs (Love Story), or the notes that are supposed to be loud, turn out to be more screaming and less singing (like her Picture To Burn performance at the CMT Awards)

For These Times Martina McBride Track from: Waking Up Laughing [RCA Nashville]
What I Cannot Change LeAnn Rimes Track from: Family [Curb Records]
Last Name Carrie Underwood Track from: Carnival Ride [19/Arista/Arista Nashville]
Last Call Lee Ann Womack [MCA Nashville]
This Is Me You're Talking To Trisha Yearwood Track from: Heaven, Heartache And The Power Of Love
Really tough competition on the female country vocal performance category.
Taylor's performance of Brenda Lee's song "I'm sorry" proves my point about her live singing. She did OK with White Horse.

Again Pink gets snubbed. LAME! I hope she wins in her category! They didnt submit her for anything Funhouse just So What but I think SW hould have been nominated for something more than just vocals, the song was HUGE, but anyway, Im still happy she got nominated!
