Lily Allen is back! She just released THE pop song of 2013. Listen to those lyrics men, she is shutting down your objectification and misogyny!

I like it but the autotune kind of takes away from the song imo.

Yeah I know she's using it to tale the piss but it does annoy me, apart from that I like it, cannot get it out of my head!

I like it but the autotune kind of takes away from the song imo. I feel like I'm gonna end up explaining 950 things about this song/video because a lot of people aren't literal thinkers/quick to catch what Lily is doing 1. The song and video are a complete satire on the media's objectification of women, how they are treated compared to their male counterparts and the overall continued misogyny in our society. 2. The song is also an attack on pop music and its utter blatant simplicity lately, including the overuse autotune. Lily has explained this all in a tweet. 3. She is going after Robin Thicke and the "Blurred Lines" coalition, Miley Cyrus & the complete and utter appropriation of the african american race, mainly the black females used as props in videos to shake their ass in skimpy clothes, etc. 4. She is going after the blatant use of product placement in videos now by OVERDOING it.

BRiTNASTY I'm well aware of that but the autotune still kind of feels out of place, though the intention of it is fine I suppose. This is good but I'm hoping she wows with something as good as "The Fear".

Lily's still a rancid bitch. Her attempts to intellectualize her brainless music are more pathetic than Gaga and that's saying a lot.

Well at least she's admitting that she's a bitch. That's a start. Lily's still a rancid bitch. Her attempts to intellectualize her brainless music are more pathetic than Gaga and that's saying a lot. 1. The women who participate in this "objectification" are doing so by their own choice. Don't blame the media. Also, misogyny is a strong word and it's not right to blur the lines between objectification and misogyny. 2. Pop music has always been simple. 3. She's failing miserably, because this isn't going to have anywhere near the success of Robin or Miley. And again, those females choose to shake their asses in music videos. 4. Five Finger Death Punch did that two years ago.
