Lots of posts today My usual source (Radio & Records Christian rock chart) had been down for a little bit, so I've been catching up on listening to some of the newer charting material. I'm really loving this. I don't know why, it's not like it's special. It's been a while since a song like this has been such an instant hit to me.

I like the beginning, but it bores me once the chorus hits. A bit too Red Jumpsuit Apparatus for my tastes. And is it just me, or is this more political than your average Christian rock song?

I'll admit, I actually didn't pay attention to the lyrics before you said that. Listening to mainly foreign music recently has conditioned me to not pay attention to the words too much (not like most songs' lyrics are worth listening to anyway...) It does sound a lot more political than other Christian rock songs. But I don't think it's meant to be. It sounds like it's more criticizing the church for things which surprises me because not a lot of Christian rock songs take that route (although the format is in desperate need of it).
