Being sent to Top 40 on 8/20. Now I really like Lawson, it was a nice change from One Direction/The Wanted, as these guys write their own songs/play their own instruments/produce or co-produce all of their songs, but going with this as their first US release? It's their lowest peaking UK single (#13), had the shortest chart life there (4 weeks and it was out of the Top 40) and it sounds like a middling pop record. My choice would've been Standing In the Dark.

Standing In The Dark and Learn To Live Again are the two songs I would have chosen for singles in the US. I am happy they are trying the american market. In my opinion, this song didn't do so well, cause well, it was a fourth single and those rarely peak higher than first or second singles. Plus, it was released after the album was already out, so that might be something to consider.

Pretty solid stuff here. I like it a lot better than what the famous boy bands are putting out.
