I didn't expect "Mirrors" to start dropping so soon, even though I know you're not really much of a JT guy. It's also interesting to see "I Love It" rising in such fashion.
I'm guessing "Stompa" is now out of the running for #1, but at least it came really close.

Wow, another week at #1 for "The Way"! Though I gotta say, I don't think this will last too much longer with those debuts right behind it. It's interesting to see "I Love It" almost in the top 5. It wasn't too long ago that you weren't too fond of that song.

Noooooooooo, why? Now I could rant about how wrong that new#1 is, or about how I dislike the top 3...but instead, I'll focus on the good stuff. "Come & Get It" peaking at #30 is a very good thing.

I normally wouldn't be a fan of "Made In the USA" being at #1, but it sure beats One Direction. Nice debut for Britney, as expected with you. I also find it interesting how "Alive" continues to stick around in the top 10. My favorite debut is the new Tegan & Sara song.

I might not be a big fan of "Gentleman," but it's a definitely a step up from your last two #1s. I always thought "I Need Your Love" would sneak in a week on top but that is looking less possible. It's interesting to see Britney Spears falling so soon, and "Clarity" already falling off. And boo @ "Come & Get It" falling off again.

You know I'm not a fan of your current #1, but I'm not at all surprised to see it spending a 2nd week on top. Could it perhaps follow in the footsteps of Ariana Grande? I'm happy to see "I Was A Fool" jumping into the top 10 and "Work" hanging on in the top 5. Both are good songs.

She is the first artist to debut and spend more than one week on top. Kelly Rowland's kisses may be down low but her debut sure isn't as she settles for a #2 debut. Chris Brown makes his first debut on the chart with his latest single "Don't Think They Know" featuring the late Aaliyah at #6. Britney has an ooh la la moment as she is her big mover of the week, rebounding 29-17 with her Smurfs 2 single. Iggy Azalea is our dropper of the week as she makes a huge downward slide 5-15. Our third and final debut comes from another new artist on the chart, J. Cole's latest single "Crooked Smile (feat. TLC)" comes in at #29.

While your two top 10 debuts are not my cup of tea, I would be happy with either of them knocking Miley off the top. Otherwise, I'd like to see Tegan and Sara make a move toward the top. It's kind of interesting to see Britney on the move now. How high can she go?

I'm posting this early since I'm gonna be super busy tomorrow and Friday with the Kelly meet and greet/show. Charli XCX) 6 27 23 11 One Direction - Kiss You 1 30 27 15 OneRepublic - If I Lose Myself 2 Chart Notes: Chris Brown is officially the first male artist to top the chart with some help from one of my favorite artists Aaliyah. Sara Bareilles continues her brave rebound as she moves 5-3 and tries having a second go at the top spot, stay tuned to see if she'll manage this time. Britney Spears continues her ooh la la moment as our greatest gained for a second consecutive week as she rebounds 17-8 and reaches a new peak with "Ooh La La". Our biggest loser of the week goes to Nicki Minaj's "High School" as it fall 11-23 in its 12th week on the chart. Newcomer Lorde is our highest entry of the week with "Tennis Court" at #14 (lol at her doing Lana better than Lana). Our other two new entries of the week come from Kelly Clarkson's latest country single "Tie It Up" at #17 and Capital Cities with "Safe and Sound" at #19.

It looks like my #1 prediction turned out to be right. Do we count this as a TRUE male #1, or is that still yet come come? It looks like Sara Barellis still has something left in the tank and might be a #1 in the future. And it appears that Britney is going to do pretty well with her song after all. My favorite debut of the week is Kelly Clarkson.

Sara Bareilles continues her rebound as she moves 3-2 with "Brave". Can her unlucky 13th week on the chart be her break at the top? Stay tuned. Kelly Clarkson is our double big mover of the week as she climbs with both of her singles (17-7 with "Tie It Up") and an impressive 29-19 rebound with "People Like Us". Our dropper of the week is Ariana Grande as she drops 16-23 with her 6 week chart topper "The Way". We have two new debuts including Robin Thicke's latest single "Give It 2 U (feat. Kendrick Lamar) at #22 and Olly Murs with his top 5 UK single "Dear Darlin'" at #30.

NOOOOOO....I'm gonna cry. Miley of all people gets to be the first two-time #1? On a brighter note, it's great to see Kelly moving ahead with such a big mover. I'm not a fan of the debuts this week, though.

With that entry, Ellie is the first artist to have 4 top 3 hits within the chart's history. Robin Thicke is the greatest gainer of the week as he matches Ariana's 19 spot jump 15 weeks ago by climbing 22-3 with his next single "Give It 2 U (feat. Kendrick Lamar)". Britney's "Ooh La La" is cut short as she tumbles 5-20 due to the massive movements with the upper half of the chart. We have 3 other debuts including a remix of Lana Del Rey's "Summertime Sadness" at #7, Paramore's "Still Into You" at #22 and Ciara's latest single "I'm Out (feat. Nicki Minaj) at #23.

Well I was thinking Ellie would debut in the top 5, but I didn't know her song would be THAT big right off the bat. That said, I'm glad. It's a lot better than the other songs that I thought were contenders this week. Hopefully she can hold off Robin Thicke. Nice seeing Paramore debut, and Britney taking a huge fall. It's also nice to see Kelly inside the top 5, and hopefully she is still a contender for the top spot.
