Kelly should do a duet with Carrie. Can you imagine that? *Heaven* That would be cool! And it should be a rock song too! Carrie should show all them hatahs that she can ROCK OUT with the best. Could you imagine a Carrie, Kelly & P!nk collabo??

probably. She might go back to her more soulful sound like on Thankful. They will probably force her to work with Timbo & Stargate.

Contrary to what many might thing, we are not a Kelly Clarkson hater.
Au contraire!
We are a big fan of her voice and LOVE her album Breakaway.
The last one was a disaster, but we're holding out hopes that her next record won't disappoint as well.
And, from what we've read thus far, it has the potential to be quite good!
Kelly is working with super talented songwriter/performer/producer Ryan Tedder, the lead singer of OneRepublic.
Tedder, who co-wrote and produced Leona Lewis' international number one hit Bleeding Love, says that Clarkson's new songs will feature "big choruses" and "heavy drum programming".
In other words, she's moving away from the rock and back to the pop.
Amen!!!!!!!!
Ryan also revealed that the songs are influenced by nineties electro-rockers Garbage, while one song, a mid-tempo rock ballad, features an experimental bridge inspired by Mozart.
Very interesting. Very PROMISING!

Sad that Kelly is being kind of forced back into pop. It doesn't have to be so black and white where she can only make uncommercial rock or only pop rock. There is a happy medium. She shouldn't have to regress to cheap "big hooks" and "heavy drum programming" But oh well. She has to save her career first. But, the Garbage and Mozart influences sound promising

Should I call it now and say this will perform like I'm Not Dead?? LOL! I have said it again and again, her career has pretty much mimicked Pink's. Except Kelly seems to be more known. LOL!

I think P!nk and Kelly are equally known. But I dont see Kelly selling out large venues over and over either like P!nk. haha I cant wait to see what its like for P!nks next era. Her tour is gona be fantastic. But anyway, yeah I agree about the careers being similar. Thankful - Cant Take Me Home Breakaway - M!ssundaztood My December - Try This Her Next CD - Im Not Dead

I think Kelly is more known. Even when Pink was big here, she still seemed slightly under the radar.

yeah, thats what I mean. Kelly is just more talked about. However, I think a lot of it also has to do with her being the FIRST American Idol too.

You can be a large musical star but not be followed around.
Hello, Dave Matthews. Just to name one. haha

I don't know if Dave Matthews is the best example. They're not that big anymore LOL
For the most part though, the bigger names usually do have more press. Kelly got a lot of her press for her album drama. And even now, Pink's divorce is relatively low key.
