The music world's most random feud rages on -- with Miranda Lambert stepping up her game by blasting Chris Brown in concert!
The battle began earlier this week, after Miranda Lambert wondered on Twitter why the convicted felon was featured on not one but two performances during the Grammy Awards.
"Chris Brown twice? I don’t get it. He beat on a girl," she tweeted, before adding "Not cool that we act like that didn’t happen. He needs to listen to Gunpowder and lead and be put back in his place. Not at the Grammys."
"Gunpowder and Lead" is Miranda's single about a woman preparing to kill her abusive husband -- and as she got ready to sing the song last night at a UMass concert, she couldn't help but slam Brown again.
Before singing, Lambert pulled a poster out of the audience reading "Take Notes Chris Brown."
"Get a good picture now, put it on Twitter," she said, while holding the poster up. "I’ve been in a world of hurt with Chris Brown fans lately ... but see, I just have to speak my mind because where I come from beating up on a woman is never okay.”
As she launched into the song, Lambert added "So that's why my daddy taught me early on in life how to use a shotgun." The crowd went wild -- watch below:
Chris Brown then tweeted :

LOL, that's a pretty clever comeback from Chris Brown. ;D Miranda Lambert seems like a pretty annoying person from what I've heard.

My problem with it is that she's being critial of the Grammy's allowing a man with a violent history, and then turns around and sings a song about shooting someone. I understand the song is about shooting an abusive husband, but the way she intro'd that song really does glorify violence imo.

She has obviously been affected personally by violence so the Chris/Rihanna situation probubly struck a chord with her. With her logic, though, he should be forever scorned with shame because he made a very poor choice when he was young. Even after the counciling and community service he did, he should still be chastised about it for as long as he lives. She has a right to speak her mind, but I don't think she's thinking through it all way.

Well 3 years is still WAY to soon for everyone to be all holding hands. I mean the police report is like reading a Steven King book. Ovb he has not worked on his anger either with just this year ripping his shirt off and then throwing a chair out at the window and storming off.
It might be a different story if 3 years later and he was well behaved and was not lashing out at people, and being an immature bitch on twitter everyday.

Honestly Miranda can go after Chris as much as she wants IMO, Chris deserves it. To abuse a woman the way he did is absolutely disgusting and I don't think it's ever forgivable even if he's "changed", which he obviously hasn't.
In fact I think Miranda is awesome for getting the word out there since it seems like there is SO little concern for domestic violence these days. If I had a dollar for every message I saw on online where someone said "It's not a big deal because it happened years ago", I'd be a millionaire. It doesn't matter how long ago it was though. You guys saw her bruises. You guys saw the police report. IT WAS A BIG f**kING DEAL.

I do agree with you Jessie, what Chris Brown did is something that is unforgiveable even with time. I couldn't hit a girl, let alone do what he did.
What I disagree with is Miranda trying to cash in on Chris Brown's name. I also think she's a hypocrite, talking about how evil Chris is and then singing a song about shooting someone. She can't have it both ways.
