Honestly I went into it being scared. The releases have been so haphazard, albeit AMAZING, and now that I've listened to the entire album I've got a verdict as the original Nicki stan of the board.
Young Forever is still easily THE BEST song on the album. Its going to slay this summer.
VaVaVoom is Super Bass Part 2, albeit nothing special like SB was. Starships sounds so week in retrospect to the rest of the pop material. Masquerade does not sound like something that Kelly Clarkson would sing AT ALL. Its TOO Pop even for Kelly.
Gun Shot, albeit with that homophobe, is amazing. It would be the perfect summer anthem for Urban. I have no words whatsoever for Beautiful Sinner. It could be this great pop anthem but its garbage. Marilyn Monroe is still beautiful. Automatic is AMAZEBALLS. Whip It and Pound The Alarm, in succession with Automatic is easily the consistent dance anthem section of the album.
I actually like Roman Holiday in the studio version. Sure live it was amazing but you can't expect it to be equally amazing studio wise since its a different element. Come on a Cone, Beez In The Trap, I Am Your Leader and Sex In The Lounge are the best of the hip hop bunch with "Champion" sounding like Forever Part 2.
Verdict: 4/5

What I've gathered so far is that POP fans are creaming over the album while some of her urban fans are slightly disappointed judging by some of the posts on pulse. I love both sides of Onika and will likely love the album as a whole when I buy it on Tuesday. |

Damn, I Am Your Leader is just f**king bad ass, the beat is just goes so hard! I've been stanning for this album since it leaked. Standout TracksRoman Holiday - I love the Gregorian themed chants and harmonies. This is just too much for me to handle, especially when she sings O Come All Ye Faithful Come On A Cone - Dick in yo' face. Enough said. I Am Your Leader - MY FAVOURITE TRACK FROM THE ALBUM. The beat just goes too hard on this for me to breathe.  Beez In The Trap - Same reason as the previous one. |

It still doesn't change the fact this album shits and remains the best of 2012 so far. It will have low critical acclaim but sell more than Pink Friday, my prediction.

I do LOVE Starships, Va Va Voom, Come On a Cone and Beez In The Trap. I just wish that the album had more emotionally charged songs like "Your Love" and "Right Thru Me". Some of Nicki's best material are her most personal tunes. And I can't believe I'm saying this but I like Madonna's MDNA album more than this.  |

Young Forever is a slightly improved "You Da One' and Marilyn Monroe sounds like a combination of FeFe Dobson's "Stuttering" and Kelly's "Behind These Hazel Eyes". I really don't feel the emotion I felt when I was listening to some of her songs off Pink Friday. |

Young Forever is superior in every way. If you think YF and YDO are anything alike, you are deaf. You Da One is an uptempo summer song about being in love and embracing it. Young Forever is a midtempo about LOSING LOVE and not being able to get over it. YF is emotionally charges and holds more emotional bearing than anything has ever done BAR "Save Me" or "Dear Old Nicki". They sound NOTHING alike. Even I am personally insulted by this comparison. Comparing Young Forever to a pile of jamaican donkey shit that is YDO. I can't.  |

Not a HUGE fan of the album but there's some good songs. I really like Marilyn Monroe, Va Va Voom, and Automatic and surprisingly Roman Reloaded as well Obviously I'd prefer it without Lil' Payne though  |

IT.IS.SO.GOOD. I always have done and always will do prefer her rap songs to her pop and she SO needed to do more of them, don't get me wrong I love my Superbass's and Starships but I Endorse These Strippers and I'm Legit   High School is so cute as well and Hell Yeah I loveee, love them all! |
