Agree with the last 2 comments... plus or minus 2 or 3 songs that are alright.

This era has been handled so poorly. "You Da One" killed the albums momentum (if not the song itself, the dreary video that came along with it). She should have released "Where Have You Been" as a second pop single follwing "WFL's" and "Talk That Talk" to urban. And only offering a snippet of "Birthday Cake" only cheapens the album. Wonder if the marketing strategy will work.

She's saving WHYB which in retrospect might be a great idea...but i agree, YDO def killed the momentum but that song grew on me...TTT has potential to be HUGE if handled correctly. THe general public seems to be embracing hip-hop/rap again so it might take off, it might now. But WHYB will be the 4th single and it will smash hard!

^^ Aren't they rereleasing the album? That's what I assumed with only a "piece" of Birthday Cake being offered ( ). If that's the case, they should release the best material first, because she has another shot with a rerelease to continue with "the hits" (as her manager stated so eloquently ).

I don't know about you, but I hate the way that rereleases are becoming the norm for pop music. Though I agree that in this case it actually does make sense.
