We know Pia recorded about 8 songs for the album before the American idols Tour started and she isn't recording while on tour. Once the tour is over though, she'll resume work on it.

Pia said recently that she expects the album to come out in November.

I don't understand how this album doesn't have a release date yet!! She's tweeting that she's in the studio like 3-5 days a week and at each session she seems to get like 2-4 songs done! She has to have a huge amount of material by now.

I think it's because they have realized she's not that marketable and she's not their priority at the moment. I kinda feel bad for her because she's a good singer, but other than being that, she's dull.. Nothing striking or unique about her personality that will make people give interest in her.

I do somewhat agree with you right now but I genuinely believe she'll be big once her album comes out. She's been cutting songs with Rock Mafia, Toby Gad, Bonnie McKee, Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, and many other top-name producers and songwriters. Anyone who knows the work of those people I listed would be foolish to not assume there'll be some hits off of her album.
