Just said in her GMA interview she has been going into the studio working on new material----that goes back to her singer/songwriter roots.
She said however after the tour is over she's taking a break and not to expect a new album until next year.

^yike, my english is really bad.
i mean that teenage dream is her best album. singles or album wise.
i never expect much from her on the second album because her first was not that much interesting to me. i really give her a lot of respect for the second album.

If she's going back to her singer-songwriter roots, I might end up liking it better than Teenage Dream. I would like to see her mature and not give us another round of goofy party tracks (because some things are best done only once).

I'd like a darker, meaner album from Katy kinda like My December for Kelly. But I doubt that'll come soon due to her being happily married and all......
maybe she'll do a sexy/dirty album like In The Zone for Britney.

I would like her to do a darker album as well. It would be nice to hear her return to her rock roots as well, at least for an EP.

Katy tweeted the other day that she's back in the studio. New album? I thought she said she wanted to take a break and live life.
