Like I said, she is fairly consistent, but she has never reached a real high.

REEE If you have more than #1 number single and a ton of top 5 and top 10 hits that is A list A list means you have at least 1 number one and about 10 top 10 hits B list is a few number top 10s C list is maybe one top 10 and a couple top 40s D list is maybe a top 40 hit or 2 F list is top 50

What are you talking about? She doesn't need any defining moments. She has some of the biggest hits out of all the pop stars
Obviously some like Britney Spears has more of a cultural impact but I am speaking strictly on music. She is one of the biggest pop stars on the charts

What is Pink's one defining moment in history? She doesn't need ONE defining moment. Shi is an artist who has stayed true to herself who is constantly reinventing herself. She is not a tabloid whore like so many of today's pop acts...she is a MUSICIAN. And honestly, I think the riding off of UUH/WK and the press with her divorce So WHat is so far her defining moment in pop culture. The video was EPIC, funny and it mocked her current situation...it shone light on an otherwise very serious moment in her life. Otherwise...Lady Mamalade/Get the Party Started was also and epic moment for her.

What press from her divorce? If anything, I was expecting her divorce to finally cause some long ovedue huge pop culture interest in her But relatively speaking, no one cared!

Yeah, but you gotta keep in mind the impact and the rate of climb too. Speaking of Radar, PDLM and IYSA were like Top 10 in name only. It was very arbitrary and the songs seemed non existent. So Radar and Funhouse suffered the consequences even though it might be a bit surprisingly judging by the peaks. I disagree PDLM is probably one of the biggest hits of the year in the tri-state(NY, NJ, CT) radio area.

Because she kept it as private as she could...she is not a fame whore. YES, she is not on the same level or pop culture relevance as Britney who PURPOSELY puts on a circus everytime she goes to K-Mart. But that doesn't NOT make someone an A-Lister...people choose to listen to her music instead of her personal life. This is one of the stupidest arguments I have ever read on MS.

No, she doesn't have to be on Britney levels of Pop culture, but someone who is that A-List should have some sort of media coverage once in awhile. And saying Pink is that big is a smart argument?
