YAY! Its actually moving some. I still don't know about it though. It doesn't seem to be doing that well given that this is the add's week.

Well all this week it has had double-digit daily spin increases, so that's something. It's nice to see a really great update for once. Hopefully it will continue. And I think the Rhythmic adds date was a really good idea.. I don't think it would be doing so good on Rhythmic this early without that adds date.
Anyway.. Billboard Reviews "Break The Ice".. pretty positive:
While Britney Spears' media circus continues to stifle the one-time ruling pop princess, she keeps delivering hits, albeit with help from the best producers and writers her fortune can buy, but who cares. Third "Blackout" single "Break the Ice" might have been a better comeback than "Gimme More," as Spears apologizes for her hiatus in moving headlines over music, with opening line, "I shouldn't have kept you waiting, but I'm here now." The uptempo track oozes catchy electro-bass thumping beats, layered breathy vocals and sometimes trying-too-hard-to-be sexy whispering, especially in the chorus of "Hot, hot, hot, ahhhh." A backdrop of operatic cries and orchestral sounds are added for good measure.

WXKS needs to start pulling this up again.. its bullet could be a lot bigger if they didn't drop it like 30 spins this week.

Yup, it is. They should up its spins though when they update their playlists on Tuesday.
Anyway.. Z100 is starting to play this more, so thats a good sign. And my station has already played it about 4 or 5 times today, which is good considering the past 2 days they barely played it at all!

Last night Britney went to dinner with her brother Bryan, Bryan's girlfriend, and a family friend Jason (who also works at the William Morris talent agency), and it appears it might've been about business, b/c now Britney is on the roster of clients for the William Morris Agency, so she might have/be getting new management soon: www.wma.com/0/cta/music/contemporary/roster/you cant click on her name which probably seems they just updated and added her name and are working on her page, i guess.

Yeah. Thats true. It MIGHT go Top 30. Depends on the competition around her and how many songs above her drop.

tomorrow she should jump up to #41 after 2 songs go recurrent so soon enough she will be top 40 and im so glad to see POM finally under 1000 spins. it was a good run.

She'll be Top 40 tomorrow cuz 3 songs are going recurrent.
This isn't gonna blow up. lol. It would already have - it's one of those kinda songs. It's not a grower where it makes a slow climb.
Oh well. That's why I want her to leave this era behind and move on unless she does a re-release w/ a new single (and gets some sort of deal w/ ClearChannel).

Say It Right wasn't really a grower for most either. But it took AGES to climb! lol

SIR is a grower type song. It's slow/midtempo. But that's a whole diff situation.

I didn't think SIR was a grower AT ALL. It was the only song from the album that I liked instantly.

Well. lmao.
It's a whole diff thing tho.
Britney's situation is COMPLETELY different from EVERYONE else. I've said this a million times before, radio isn't gonna play her unless she gets some deal going with Clear Channel. And even then they still might not play her because her IMAGE is horrendous. Britney Spears is ALL about image.

Isn't Gimme Mo and POM her biggest hits in a while though?
