Its come that time. As Kimberly has only done guest vocals on an Aggros Santos song and Sarah's solo work with Xenomania will remain unreleased, who's first single is the best of the 3 Girls Aloud singers to actually embark on solo careers.
In the first corner of the triangle: Cheryl Cole - Fight For This Love
Fight For This Love spent 2 weeks at #1 on the UK Top 40 Singles Chart, spent 11 weeks at #1 on the UK airplay chart, spent 3 weeks at #3 on the World Chart and became 2009's Fastest Selling Single in the UK. Cheryl's biggest hit.
In the second corner of the triangle: Nadine Coyle - Insatiable
Peaked at #25 on the UK Top 40 Singles Chart, went Top 5 on the Irish singles chart. Went Top 20 on the UK airplay chart.
In the third corner of the triangle: Nicole Roberts - Beat of My Drum
Currently Top 10 on Irish iTunes. Being released on Sunday in the UK. Getting overwhelming great reviews and response on the internet and form music buffs. Produced by Diplo, with an obviously slight sample from 'Pon De Floor', this is everything Beyonce wishes her first single could sound like.
So, vote vote vote!
This is a tough decision for me as they are 3 amazing sangles. Mine is an obvious choice but Nadine's single is one of my favorite songs and Nicola has risen to an early lead on plays this week in its first 2 days. All three are highly addictive and get stuck in your ears for hours.

Fight For This Love spent 11 weeks at #1 on the UK airplay chart Is this a record? It's really impressive. Cheryl > Nadine > Nicola for me. "Fight For This Love" grew on me a lot over time. I think I love it now. "Insatiable" is pretty average - I have no strong feelings either way. "Beat of My Drum" though. Her voice sounds awful in the production (maybe it only works in electro ballads?) and the whole thing sounds like Uffie meets The Ting Tings - which is definitely not a good thing at all. She was my favorite in Girls Aloud but I'm not sure if I misjudged her - I know she'll get a lot of love from the Popjustice crowd and the like for being a quirky indie popstar, but that sounds a terrible thing to be (like Robyn, ugh).

Fight For This Love spent 11 weeks at #1 on the UK airplay chart Is this a record? It's really impressive. Yes it actually as. Cheryl was lucky to have released it the week she did because Radio 1/Capital FM/all freeze their airplay charts for the month of December and 2 weeks of January sort of like the US charts do. Cheryl debuted at #1 on airplay, stayed there until the final week of November and thus, gained an extra 6 weeks at #1 due to the freeze. She ended at #2 for year end airplay and #2 on the singles chart, behind the monster single 'I Gotta Feeling'. However, the Peas only eclipsed her in airplay by points not weeks. Sales however, she lost on about a 30% decline.
