So the Queen's album has leaked, but how does it compare against the Princesses? For me I much prefer Blackout, I like Hard Candy but Blackout is one of my favourite albums ever. Here's how each track shapes up against each other for me right now: 1. Candy Shop vs. Gimme More (WON'T CHANGE) 2. 4 Minutes vs. Piece of Me (WON'T CHANGE) 3. Give It 2 Me vs Radar4. Heartbeat vs. Break The Ice 5. Miles Away vs. Heaven on Earth (WON'T CHANGE) 6. She's Not Me vs. Get Naked (WON'T CHANGE) 7. Incredible vs. Freakshow (WON'T CHANGE) 8. Beat Goes On vs. Toy Soldier 9. Dance 2Night vs. Hot As Ice10. Spanish Lessons vs. Ooh Ooh Baby (WON'T CHANGE) 11. Devil vs. Perfect Lover TIE 12. Voices vs. Why Should I Be Sad? 8-4 to Blackout!

Hard Candy. Blackout had great highlights but the album lost its luster towards the last tracks.

I'm going to say Blackout, but honestly I see my answer changing in the future because some of the songs on HC are WAY more immediate for me than any of the songs on Blackout. And I also have to say this lol. I know Blackout is a great pop album, but I've never seen such a disparity between the actual public reaction to an album and online lol. I'm literally the one person in my entire circle of friends that owns the album. Most of my friends downloaded it illegally, but they only told me (hesistantly, because they know I love Britney) that they liked only a few songs, and it wasn't worth their money. I think while its good, it gets an excuse for its non-success with "no promotion" or "quantity doesn't equal quality" or _____ excuse. While those reasons could be true, its not like Blackout is the second coming of pop lol. Sorry for my spiel, just had to say it and its only my opinion

well yeah, thats just YOUR circle of friends. im not saying that thats not true that a lot of people illegally downloaded that, but i think it varies. i know people who love the entire album (though some bought it; some downloaded it), while i know people who dont even give Brit a chance b/c of her problems. and i dont see the excuse aspect. If Brit really was promoting, the album would've been a hit. It's kinda hard to not see that. No ones calling it the second coming of pop, but I think Blackout has gotten a better reaction to people in general than Hard Candy has, atleast so far. But opinions will vary. I think the one thing for Blackout is that, atleast IMO, all the songs are good. Some are better than others, but with most albums theres usually gonna be filler (and Ive never liked ALL of the tracks on any Brit album), but Blackout really doesnt have any filler.. just 12 great tracks. atleast to me

^ Lol, totally ok if you think so (as many others do as well), but IMO it's not.
And the good reviews thing for Blackout is kind of unfounded. Of course it got some amazing reviews, but it also got some bad reviews (its just that they were never shown in the Britney threads).
Metacritic.com is a good place to check out how reviews stack up. They average out all the reviews for a particular cd and come up with a score.
Blackout scored a 61, which is actually her second worst reviewed cd. In comparison In The Zone got a 66, Back to Basics got a 69, B'Day got a 70, I'm Not Dead got a 70, FutureSex/LoveSounds got a 70 and Loose got a 71.
