All I can say is WTF!? JLS released this song in the UK 4 months ago and guess what? US CROSSOVER TIME On the recent JR wave that is Jason Derulo/Iyaz and the massive crossover success of Jay Sean, their label decided it best to jump over here to crossover. Z100 & Kiis added straight out of the gate. Power rotation already first week at Y100 & 103.5 in Chicago. And yes, added here at work. My boss came to me and said "have you ever heard of JLS?" and I was like "uh yeah they were runner-ups on X Factor last season?" and he goes "okay just wondered, we added their song today, I know you like that UK music". This is me right now He'll add some random crappy, overproduced UK boyband song but won't add a far superior Sugababes song or a super awesome Saturdays song? Shit, how about add a lackluster Cheryl Cole song, its better than this crap. ----------------------------------------------------------------

Trying to retype this post after being logged out when I posted But anyway, it's kind of surprising. since even Alexandra Burke hasn't even crossed over yet and she was the winner and she had plans too I think. But they seem to be more successful than most X-Factor losers, so maybe there's something here for them. And Cheryl just needs to embrace the USA. I'm sure her looks will help ease any doubts over a mediocore single a bit

It depends on your settings. I've done that before, but since I updated my Firefox, it doesn't do that anymore. And when I used IE, it never did that

I'm sure her looks will help ease any doubts over a mediocore single a bit RedOne is huge right now too, The Sugababes need to try and break the US with 'About A Girl', its literally their best song since 'About You Now' or even later, 'Red Dress'. I could care less if they are worried about the lineup change, I gurantee you 0.02% of the US population know who they are. AND JAY-Z SIGNED THEM TO ROC NATION!!!! WHAT IS HE DOING SIGNING THEM AND NOT INCLUDING A 'CROSSOVER TO US NOW!' CLAUSE And Cheryl just needs to re-record her album for the US (BUT NOT WITH RYAN TEDDER LIKE SHE IS DOING, UGH f**k WHAT!?) and just include 'Stand Up', 'Parachute', '3 Words', 'Fight For This Love' and 'Don't Talk About This Love'. And I will never understand Polydor for not trying to break The Saturdays when they had the chance Ugly Betty used 'Up!' and 'Issues' in promos for last season and then used 'Work!' and 'Chasing Lights' DURING THE EPISODES. Can you see how frustrated I am by merely living in the US? Don't get me started on Daniel Merriweather/Will Young/Alexandra Burke/Shayne Ward/etc. so seriously over it.

Sometimes people sign artists to prevent them from releasing material. I hope the Sugababes didn't fall into that kind of trap

JLS GET JIVE: London teen pop sensations JLS are coming to the U.S. on Jive Records, who will release their first single, “Everybody In Love” on Feb. 9. The song is already getting huge requests at influential Top 40 station WXSS in Milwaukee. Formed in 2007, Aston, “JB,” Marvin and Oritse sold more than one million of their self-titled debut in two months, with two chart-topping hits in “Everybody in Love” and “Beat Again” after getting their start on Simon Cowell’s X Factor show in 2008. The band has already earned two prestigious MOBO awards, one recognizing them as “Best Newcomer,” and were recently nominated for three Brit Awards, including “British Breakthrough Act” and “Best British Group.” ---------------------------------- I swear if this becomes huge, I am blaming my boss. Apparently he added it two weeks ago thinking he can repeat the 'Cupids Chokehold' success he created by playing it for 5 months before it was announced as a single and then continued to play it obsessively and made us Top 10 on it until it hit #1.

LOL! That seems so surreal to read that in like a formal article after hearing you mention it. I love Cupid's Chokehold though so kudos to your boss for that at least

REEEEEEEE
But, everything about it seems pretty good to me. Good production, hook, structure. And I love the genre ambiguity too.

Now that I am over the initial anger of them getting to crossover, I will say I did like this song when they performed a mashup with Alexandra on XFactor this year. The studio version is nice, I like the chorus.
However, they will be relegated to one-hit wonder status. The difference between Everybody In Love and their other singles is that EIL has that 'group' effort feel to it, the rest of their singles sound like 4 guys got together to sing a song, maybe thats just me though.
