*continuing UK music onslaught*
AMAZING new song from the brilliant Norwegian songstress Annie. This is probably her best song since the days of Anniemal, so hopefully this will get people interested again, and make her dent the Top 40.
A gorgeously quixotic, glitzy, yet melancholic slice of disco-pop heaven. AND THAT KEYCHANGE.
Amazing. (x20)

Key change? I thought you were against those. Anyway, I am listening.

I usually am - it's typically the laziest form of songwriting. It works really well here though.
(You won't like it though.)

I usually like key changes but this one was really random The song's production was alright. For the type of song it was, I was expecting a melody like that, but the bigger problem seems be the vocal production And it's spelled Anthonio with an H?

The vocals are good - we all know Annie does not have a powerful voice, but it's endearing and light, the focus of the song, it's not overly forceful but it acts as a perfect instrument to the production. It's typical Annie; and as such this will by no means get her new fans but it will consolidate and delight a fanbase fragmented by the release of Don't Stop v1. And it is with a H: www.myspace.com/anthoniomendesHe's a lady-loving musician and part time waiter from Brazil.

Yeah, she doesn't have a powerful voice, but the vocals are too airy and there's too much high end. Maybe it's the youtube quality, but it was too distracting, and I'm not a big person usually on vocals.

Is it just on this song you don't like the vocals? Have you heard Heartbeat for example, where everyone agrees her airy vocals make the song as brilliant as it is?

Not sure what songs I've heard. Ralph told me about her and I've heard some stuff but mostly on youtube awhile back. Do her airy vocals sound better like on normal files?

She sounds better on the lower parts, but overall that song isn't as shrill as this one.

Ugh Love Annie.
'Boyfriend' is like my favorite song from her, Heartbeat is perfection as well.
It seems like these artists just fall through the cracks.
