..it's really difficult to make a list of your favorite songs. Especially to consider all of the music that happened before I was born. IMO I LOVEEE some of the "older" songs but I have a harder time adding them to my list..or having them appear ahead of the songs that I "lived" through because they weren't my "experience." IDK if that makes sense...
An example: "The Way You Look Tonight" is EASILY one of my favorite songs of all time..but I just felt like I was lying to myself by putting it on the "top 20" list. I felt that I was only adding it to my list to make my list seem more "credible" or make myself have a more varied taste. It did not fit. I could have easily omitted "embarassing" songs like BSB..but to be honest, I think it was a brilliant pop record that was the first album that I bought with my own money. (and I think the song still stands today).
The other IMPOSSIBLE thing for me to include are Disney songs. The also feel really weird in a list of my favorite songs. I love them to death but I am always confused when I need to order them next to monster pop songs!

I feel like there were types of children growing up. Disney kids and Nickelodeon kids. I always felt like the Nick kids were on the dark side for enjoying the horribly drawn Ren N Stimpy, Rugrats , and Hey Arnold over the well drawn animation from Disney movie

And that's suprising too since you're like the biggest Disney fan here and I thought Disney was like part of most basic Cable packages. Like it wasn't HBO or The Skin Network Did you at least watch Disney afternoon? (The syndicated thing?) and LW i LOVEEEE the fact that you like Good Charlotte! I am always so surprised when you praise them! LOL Why?

Go The Distance is the BEAUTIFUL power balad Hercules sings as he is searching to find where he belongs..it's his journey to the monument of zeus..than after the encounter he has an EPIC reprise Breaking Free is from the first HSM and it is just amazing. It's the song Gabriella and Troy sing at the call backs. Do you HONESTLY not remember "A Whole New World!?" It's the song Aladdin/Jasmine sing on the carpet. again, flawless. This is probably one of the most famous disney songs ever. Zero to Hero is the gospel JAM from Hercules..it's sung by the Muses and it talks about how Hercules is saving Greece from all of the monsters and problems.. Be Our Guest - Lumiere(the candle stick) sings this song to Belle..the whole kitchen errupts to sing this show stopping song about how even tho she is "captured" in the castle, the enchanted objects want to make her feel like she's at home. So Close - from Enchanted..Jon McLaughlin sings it at the ball as Amy Adams/Patrick Dempsey dance. I'll Make a Man Out of You - EPIC song in Mulan as all of the soldiers train to get ready to fight the Huns. And I'm shocked you don't know songs like "Change the World", "The Way You Look Tonight" or "One Love" they're classics..

(The syndicated thing?) well it joined the standard cable package when I was like 11 I think..so like 6th grade.. it was the height of Lizzie McGuire/Sister Sister/Even Stevens/Smart Guy/Boy Meets World... but SS, BMW, SG were re-runs i think...
