"Semi-Charmed Life" (Third Eye Blind) was the first song to ever receive 100% of the vote in a battle. This was when the song was against "How Bizarre" by O.M.C.

Since then, "Iris" (Goo Goo Dolls) also won a battle with 100% of the vote. It was up against fallen icon Michael Jackson's hit "Billie Jean".

"Semi-Charmed Life" was also the first song ever to retire, even before Britney Spears.

Both songs to have retired so far ("Semi-Charmed Life" & "One Week") were both by bands.
